There wasn't a conclusion in this thread, though there seems to be one in the rule violation thread.

Current suggestion from Reiner04 is

This is a logical suggestion in my opinion. I checked and translated many of the translations of the "Veldanava_and_The_Great_Holy_Spirit" and even though there were some missing lines or words (that are unrelated to the arguments that was done by Astral) the main MTL parts that are used in his arguments weren't as bad as i thought they would be.

The one i finished(there might be one scan left if irrc) is this one:

I don't know about the other translation helpers though. Apotheosis69 is helping to as far as i know.

By the way, am i supposed to do translate the entire thing? I wouldn't mind doing it but it might take a while(honestly don't know, maybe a week or far longer, maybe a few day or today at night) since i have an important exam i have to take two months later.

Uh my apologies for misunderstanding. Please never compromise with exams. I think this thread and correcting translations can take a while, considerably as much time as you and other helpers needs. @Apotheosis69 will you be helping out here too?

Yes, please do not cause any serious problems for yourself in real life. There is no great hurry here.

Also, I agree about surgically removing all of the revisions based on inaccurate translations rather than deleting the verse as a whole from our wiki.

Edit - I do still hold my values, that real life is much more important than this. So always prioritize it over anything online, so In this case the exams and your mental health should be the top priority.

Well, we won't delete the verse, but it is obviously extremely important that its supporters take the matter of correcting its inaccurate information very seriously.

Deletion is not being done Dark. Only reverting Astral's CRTs. Which can be added back when the translation would be found accurate to accepted crts, you can say it's just temporarily reverting things unless verified stuff comes up. Considering our TL helpers are willing to help, and supporters help them out in this crt with translation, things can be sorted out.

Yeah. Cosmology page that is based off entire human edited MTL of Astral should be temporally deleted. That's not issue since if it is entirety of Astral's MTL then its not reliable at all. Entire page at that. But you can store the contents and pages in sandbox to fix that page in future. But any character profile will likely not be deleted right?

Don't have any of these as i'm loyal to my one and only. There is Microsoft Edge though. Guess i can just download them as png or something from there and do it like that(since i don't like keeping edge open :d).

We can't really have a page that has Tier 1 Cosmology based off misleading translations. We can't even be certain that Tier 1 will be accepted once translations of Astral are removed, leaving things uncertain.

I never once claimed that it would be treated exactly the same, nor did I propose that. What I want is for the staff to judge that thread. If they agree with Low 1C from the information within that thread, it can stay; if they disagree with it, the rating will be lowered, simple as that. I am not claiming nor implying that the rating should remain Low 1C, what I am claiming is that the staff should fully evaluate the CRT and new cosmology page, without Astral's translations.

If they get a new rating, or it stays the same, should be irrelevant to Astral's translations if the staff think the Low 1C is acceptable with the new page, no?

Summery - I am proposing that the staff look over the new cosmology fully and decide if it meets the requirements for Low 1C, or needs to be lowered. What that thread is doing is fixing the cosmology.

If the verse still meets the Tier 1 criteria after removing Astral’s translations, then the page can be republished. This doesn’t really get any of the verse’s character profiles deleted.
