Can't read any japanese, but for any of that can and are interested in novel, vol 12 is coming out on March 9 There's also some pics below showing the monsters in the labyrinth, and what I assume to be some guy (Damrada or Kondou I guess) from the Empire and Rudra

That's veldora on the cover, the other 2 pics are the monsters in the labyrinth, and the last one i have no idea who it is.

So as expected tensei is getting an anime, it was only a matter or time due to its popularity and all the isekai being adapted, shield hero, arifureta etc.

Was confirmed on the cover on the latest volume. It's coming this year.

Still waiting on an isekai mahou anime, a kumoko anime as well.

An Isekai Anime? I'm prepared to cringe........on a side-note I think i saw something about ruminas loving hinata instead of chloe in the LN... don't remember but it was probably just shipping.

The isekai can't be stopped, every season of anime there has to be an isekai ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Seriously it is sort of ridiulous though.

i have no problem with Isekai comes out in every seaon :3 as long as it's well written and awesome like Tensei Slime and Kumoko-chan.

Also, i have a question to ask. Do we have to rewrites the profiles if the LN contradict with the web novel. I'm currently around chapter 50 of the WN and i noticed there are several diffence between the WN and the manga. Like how Milim go straight to Rimuru alone rather than went along with Clayman and Frey's servants.

Well the ln is the official version so yes, unless it diverges so much that you have totally different characters, then you would seperate them i guess.

Trailer i'm assuming.... it actually looks decent......?

Was asked to relay this little information

So it seems that the origin of the demon race doesn't differ all that much from the WN. However, the LN makes it that the 7 named demons we have to be the progenitor of the demon race. With each and every single one of them being referred to as primordial [their respective color]. So it'll be something like Gii Crimson as the Primordial Red, Diablo as the Primordial Black, etc. And seemingly every single one of them have become a much more prominent figure in the setting, which is kinda big difference than in the WN. Example being Hillary/Hirari being a goddess that the human worship before Ruminas' religion became the dominant one

Hirari ?

Anyway, I don't know about what the LN would do for this page as due to our very little information on the LN i don't know if we can change anything yet.

But good to know they might be upgraded in the LN.

Most likely a common name romanization problems. This happen quite often. But as i don't know much about the novel myself, can't really say anything about that topic. I'm only copy pasting another person's word, for the most part

He said that the LN is roughly similar to the WN but it does began to differ in the middle. And apparently someone named Yuuki, who was supposed to be the antagonist in the WN, doesn't have the same role as an antagonist in the LN. He also said that Yuuki is weaker in the LN but his character was made to be more unpredictable or something along those line

I see, I definitely know that the LN slightly differs from the WN, as in vol 12 illustrations, I saw zegion with his wings where to my knowledge he should've only had that after he absorbed Dino's sword.

Well the ln only has 3 volumes translated so far.

Though if there are major differences not sure how we would handle that, different profiles for the ln and wn? Idk, wonder if in the ln the characters are less powerful?

We would need more of the ln translated anyway to know the major differences and what not, that's a problem for in the future.

Can't say much since i never read the WN nor the LN. But Durandal did said some stuff regarding the novel to me yesterday

Paraphrasing a little bit.

The major plot is the same. Eastern Empire invading, Leon trying to summon Chloe which kickstart the thing with Shizue, Milim nonchalantly visit Tempest and deciding to become Rimul's friend, etc etc The LN do make the character development slightly different however. This is mostly done to the secondary cast of Tempest (Labyrinth dudes), dudes from another kingdom that never exist in like 80% of the story back in the WN, and other bunch that is not Tempest main cast. Example being the background for Zegion, Apito, Adalman, Albert, and Kumara. In the WN it was p much "Rimul found them at some point but the novel just told you now lol" and changed to "Rimul encounter them as enemies, stuff and actual story happened, change of heart and now they're in Tempest side" without changing the most fundamental part of each character background (like how Albert is still Adalman's guardian and how Adalman is still.... What the hell was he again? lmao i forgot)

Other kingdoms were also made somewhat more relevant compared to the WN where they just appear for some chapters then outright disappear for the rest of the novel. This could explain why we got so many new characters. An example of this can already be seen in the manga where some emmisary from the Beast Kingdom visit Tempest after the incident with that magic whale thing. Whereas in the WN we just know that at some point, Tempest established a political relationship with many foreign kingdoms but they outright gone for some reason as we moved into a new arc

Personally think that if the site want to make a page for the LN. It would eventually be merged with the WN version of it as things seem to progress in the same way as the WN for the most part, it just happen way more slowly. Only person that might need a different page/version is probably Yuuki as the Yuuki in the LN is apparently not the antagonist and actually portrayed as a much weaker person (though much more unpredictable as well) unlike in the WN. That and putting new stuff from the LN would be mostly adding new character rather than revising/changing already existing character page.

Oh yeah, another thing. Plz told CP or opmasada that Souei isn't one of the twelve patrons. It's Geld/Gerudo

Adalman had a job that specialized in killing undead, IIRC....A priest? I think?

If that's the case, then it should pretty much merge (with the abilities that aren't included in the LN removed of course, but I doubt that would happen). Although we would still need the rest of the abilities or information about how already existing abilities work in LN, i'm sure there are more right? The manga has already demonstrated so with the appearance of Charybdis, and that rimuru's gluttony is a ranged attack than in the WN.

Just realized the wiki included him with twelve patrons, should be changed to just "Rimuru's Subordinates"

Also if you can, can you talk to this guy about the relationship with ruminas and rimuru? Things seem to have changed, and it feels like ruminas is a subordinate now....

EDIT: Adalman was a Holy Fist Saint or something like that.

I found a site that has Raws of the LN if anyone that can read Japanese is interested. It even includes Volume 8.5 that has all of the character info stuff up to that point which would after the Walpurgis Banquet and Rimuru vs Hinata 2 and possibly either jsut before or after the Labyrinth.

Perma or Temp? His account's last message from him states he'll be inactive for a long ass time, but doesn't say why. Bummer either way. I'll leave the link on here for anyone else who might be able to magic soemthing for the rest of us casual plebians.

Edit: I'm a member of the Discord Channel of the current scanlator of the series, Shurim and will include invite links here. Also, on the chat I madde the suggestion of updating and fixing up the wiki's for the sries sicne they're in very bad states.

Idk, hope it isn't perm. Apparently he got banned for the same reason as a guy that caused a lot of controversy.

Realized there was a volume and now i'm a pirate.

YAAAARGH!!!

They have up to Volume 10 of the Raws(they're missing 8.5 sadly which I can provide though) and have everything that's been translated from Yen Press thus far.

Edit: Here's th Discord Link - https://discord.gg/NNYZa3

Expires in a day.

Der Wehrwolf said:
One of the newest chapter have Rimuru himself said that he cannot go FTL. Case of author not knowing what he/she wrote about ?
Yeah, obviously, that, or the author was talking about travel speed.

In one of the early chapters the novel specifically stated that Disintegration was the speed of light:

Though it's not an area attack, since it targets everything from the atom to the soul, it is considered the strongest anti-personnel magic.
Upon completing the chant, a brilliant white light shot out from her hands.
A blinding light.
It traveled to the target at a speed of 300,000 km/s. Equal to the speed of light.

And this was Hinata's fastest attack, which was stated to accelerate enough that it became light-

You let your guard down, it's my win! Melting Slash!!ÒÇì

The speed of her swings again accelerated becoming light itself.
That sword, wrapped in various types of magic,

And Chloe blocking it:

Convinced of victory, hopeless reality assailed Hinata.

The Special Move that Hinata released overlapped with the Hero's. The technique was completely on the same rank as Hinata's, but the speed and power exceeded that of Hinata's.

Melt Slash.

The Hero countered Hinata's technique by using the same the technique as Hinata.

And though the execution was after Hinata's, it caught up with Hinata's sword speed and with power it broke Hinata's sword. The remaining energy of the aftershocks even cut the dimension.
