One day junior was eating the corpse of a triceratops until Gwangi attacked him, suddenly Buck came to the rescue and hit Gwangi to save his son.

The Tyrannosaurus lacks the ability to actually hurt Gwangi. The latter was gored by a Styracosaurus putting all its weight onto a single point (its horn) and suffered no visible injury. The Tyrannosaurus, meanwhile, wields significantly less weight in a broader area of distribution (its jaws), and that, combined with Gwangi tanking a rockslide and suffering nothing more than being knocked out, as well as Gwangi's habit of pulling his opponent's legs out from under them, would make this a clear cut win for Gwangi.

Gwangi: 1

T-rex: 0

Well the thing is, dinosaurs are wall level, so Gwangi surviving the horn is only a wall level feat.
