That’s not evidence if they literally lack the vocal ability to properly roar. Every study I have seen in the past says they do the crocodile sound. New studies say they may have been like birds, show me where either of those say they can produce a very loud roar or sound blast like an elephant

But it won’t be, they literally lack the vocals to make a sound that’s super loud. It being big doesn’t matter, the studies say they make the crocodile noise which is extremely quick and low in comparison to the super high and loud trumpet blast. Elephants don’t make their sound because their big, they make it because of their noise and vocal structure.

in what way, especially when you are seriously over estimating the sounds everything produces. Elephants are cartoonishly loud, something walking towards you at 10 mph isn’t that loud even with the weight behind it as shown by all creatures of similar weight in the modern day.

Most animals in real life already don’t like to fight. Here it is more inclined to, but the loud noise it would have no experience with following by a tall animal charging it should scale it off. It scares off similarly sized rhinos who are equally if not more insanely aggressive.
