Well, without the sword, I'd probably call stalemate. Superman doesn't have the attack potency to put Kirby down and Kirby doesn't have the AP to put Supes down.

One thing that confuses me about Kirby's upgrade tho: Why is Scaling Kirby to Magolor an outlier, but scaling him to Dark Nebula is just fine? I mean, I'm happy that Kirby got upgraded, but I don't understand what makes the two situations different.

I think I'm the one who said the hax thing. iirc, Supes has phasing that could brain remove. Could be post and 52, but I'm pretty sure it was pre, post, and 52 with phasing. Problem is, I'm not sure Kirby has internal organs.

He's not human, that's for sure. This might turn out to be inconclusive if Superman here doesn't have the hax the defeat Kirby.

I'm not sure if Pre-Crisis Superman was ever possessed. There was that Silver Age cover of Superman choking Batman to possible death with some villain laughing in the background but you know how those covers go.

That's a hard one question. Since Ghost possession (usually) can't be canceled by strong will like Supes has.
