But the 1 Gigaton is an underestimate for Superman. He one-shot that 1 Gigaton thing and he has become much stronger than the one-shot afterwards.

Superman also has better regeneration and can withstand Heat Vision which can reach temperatures of 3.5 million Kelvin. Serveal layers of upscaling (he's weaken when performing that one-shot, he one-shots, he becomes more stronger than the time he perform the one-shot feat) could put Superman in similar foot. Superman also has "Can develop new abilities and grow stronger with Solar Energy Absorption", which means that the strength gap would become closer and closer.

Superman's strength is based on the assumption of layers of upscaling as well as the empowerment. Aside from that, Superman can use his Freeze Breath, which could freeze Steppenwolf's Electro Axe to the point that he was able to shatter it with a single strike, or his scream, which shatters every glass or ceramic object along the Main Street in Smallville when he is an infant.

The fact that their speed is that close means that Ikaris can aim dodge if nothing else.

And we do not upscale like this. Superman is far above a High 7-A feat but he's not baseline 6-C. Even if he were, Ikaris would kill him with a tap.

In-verse standards for oneshots aren't the same as our standard, and trust me you do NOT want us to consider them otherwise because boy do they lead to a **** ton of downgrades, but basically, Superman can very well be oneshotting at 2x gap because there is an abundance of verses like that, or could be at a 200000000000000x gap, we have an explicit rule NOT to invent these unlisted tiers, and by proxy values, for these characters in a vs. debate, and are only limited to what's on the file.
