I love Bandanna Dee but I might prefer Adeline. Think about it.

Paint themed attacks and mounts like in her boss fight/ Star allies would be unique.

Anti-Byleth: You got what you paid for. You got 4 non-Nintendo characters and 1 Fire Emblem character. Each being unique playable characters with new movesets. You paid for new characters. You got new characters. Was there a character you didn't want? Too bad, you knew what you signed up for. No character was set in stone, you paid for a grabbag. You can be disappointed as I agree Byleth ending this DLC pack was not the best and should've been saved for DLC pack 2. However, it is what it is. However it does not justify ******** on Sakurai or people who actually likes the product. This doesn't help the image of the Smash fanbase at all. A fanbase that has long had a terrible reputation. Also going to FE vids to mass dislike them is just sad. Also going around and calling FE a shit franchise only makes you look more childish.

Pro-Byleth: You can spam "Hoes Mad" all you want, but make sure you can actually give a constructive ******* argument. Simply saying "Hoes Mad" does nothing. Also don't gatekeep. You are being no better. Honestly, I'd rather say don't post "Hoes Mad" at all. And this is from someone who did so earlier, i.e I know it doesn't help the situation. Does this mean I will remove the gif? No cuz I'm a prick. But I do apologize for being a dick.

I'll admit Byleth looks like a fun character mechanically whilst still acknowledging how wasted it is to give a slot to another Fire Emblem character. Not even just because the DLC slots were meant for series' never seen in smash before but also because of other nintendo series' lacking representation. As I said from the beginning.

And I'm sorry but that Pro-Byleth list barely even scratches the surface, I know you've kept your distance but the amount of fire emblem fans calling the Smash community "tasteless and uncultured" is beyond disrespectful and so unbelievably pretentious. Both sides are equally petty, but if you're going to acknowledge that at least showcase the full scope of your side instead of just simplifying it down to "Hoes Mad". Because no that is not the worst thing your side has said.

I can only acknowledge what I have seen. I for the most part stay out of this shit so I do not know all the extra little details. I have also seen Anti-Byleth people be just as disrespectful and overall entitled and do nothing but rant and rave and be toxic. I also never said one side was more petty than the others, they both are being petty and toxic over ******* Smash Bros. A series with an extremely notorious fanbase. I am also one usually on the recieving end of the Anti-Byleth side so there is that.

Also link to that quote for the DLC only being for series never before seen in smash. I asked elsewhere and no one has given me the source.

As you said, but where exactly have you seen these Anti-Byleth's being disrespectful? Because I cetinainly haven't seen any here, whereas I have seen numerous examples of both in forums and other such sites well away from Vs Battles.

This was more of an implication by Reggie, but essentially; "These are going to be characters that are new to the series, just like Joker from Persona 5, characters you would not expect to be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate."

The fact that he never specifically states that all would be 3rd party, I would find it wrong to say Sakurai or Nintendo lied about something when they never directly said anything of the sort. Although this wording is a bit too vague for my tastes.

But the implication of these characters being new to the series suggests he was referring the series they hailed from being new specifically (cause yeah ofcourse the individual character would be new, otherwise they'd already be in the game), and since there's basically no nintendo series that doesn't have a rep at this point, it appeared to be referring specifically to 3rd party series. Plus them being characters we'd never expect to see in Smash kinda...well, how unlikely is a fire emblem character at this point?

I would say FE is more likely than others (especially now considering the success of Three Houses). However, I do wonder if Reggie had knowledge of all the characters or just went with a general idea.

Basically what I am saying is no more attacking each other because Byleth is in the game. Let's look forward to the next 6 incoming. Also, let's be honest, this is gonna last for like, a week and everything will be back to normal

I agree with that idea. This will only last a bit longer then the Hero debacles most likely and I just want everyone to be friends. I personally stand somewhere in between with this issue (I was very disappointed with another fe rep but the moveset is cool and I loved 3 houses. Sadly it wasn't gatekeeper.)
