Another topic of consistency of normal punches
 
Ima just drop an idea here: there was a point in the fight between garou and saitama that the latter started holding back.

Garou said it himself, he somehow is falling behind. Saitama's growth is exponential, and for each copy, the growth rate increased the entire time garou's face met saitama's fist.

...in that timeframe, how much was the gap between garou and saitama? In each copy and subsequent exponential increase, for anyone who believes its higher than a 7x amp, why then does garou still survive a punch despite increasingly being hurt by it?

Because saitama started holding back. Not immediately. Maybe saitama noticed right around when the panels showed the graph.

Garou can only copy it once he sees it and has no way of sensing unspent energy. He would have no way of knowing how much power saitama is actually exerting compared to his full strength

...Until the sneeze, an involuntary action that causes one's muscles to exert at their full potential.

Theres a reason why he is so scared. Saitama spent more effort sneezing, than he would have killing him
 
I'm gonna leave here one opinion about Saitama's growth.

Saitama's growth is stated to soar exponentially. However, it being "just exponential" does not really seem to work.

Let's start with a simple premise. For you to one shot an opponent, you must be x times stronger, right? Let it be x2, x1.5, x8 (as accepted in vs threads), x100, or xwhatever.

However, this does not really work at all with Saitama's growth being exponential.

Saitama's growth is based on punches (as we can see in his fight against Garou, in which each "jump" of growth happens after they trade punches), and at each grow jump, Garou's power is where Saitama's power was previous to the jump.

But, Garou said he was getting left in the dust, and that eventually one of those punch was gonna kill him.

This doesn't work with exponential growth, why? Let's say Saitama grows as the function 2^x for simplicity.

First clash:
Saitama's power: 2
Garou's power: 1

Garou copies. Saitama evolves

Saitama: 4
Garou: 2
Difference: 2

Garou copies. Saitama evolves.

Saitama: 8
Garou: 4

Garou copies. Saitama evolves

Saitama: 16
Garou: 8

Even if the absolute difference keeps getting higher, the gap is every time the same: 2x. This does not align with the fight at all, since the gap was getting bigger and bigger to the point Garou couldn't follow, even if he countered with as much force every punch.

Consequently, I think Saitama's growth is something greater than just an exponential function. What? Guess we'll end up seeing in the future.

This is just an opinion, though.

Honestly, ONE and Murata probably just don't care at all about the whole multiplier thing, it's very inconsistent in fiction, Dragon Ball is an example of this, we have a SSG vegeta fighting against Broly and afterwards we have a base goku fighting against Broly.

This is like saying Super Saiyan God Goku is = Base goku, because Vegeta is around Goku's strength, but the authors just don't care at all

the graph showed saitama's growth rate continuing to increase while garou's copy remained frozen.
 
I was wondering, when Garou's page gets opened from a CRT or Vs Battle.

You guys are fine with me changin his page, like fixing his P&A with a Border. Adding Japanese for his Techniques and adding statistics Values for AP, Durability, Speed etc.
 
Uh, no. they are still on the same timeframe. Saitama grows, Garou copies after that. other growth panels shows the same thing
Thats what im weirded out though. In the timeframe of garou's copy being frozen, the previous panel shows saitama, if we start counting where garou on the grid is, reaching the 9th grid. The next panel is the growth climbing to the 13th grid

Why is it climbing? If they are on the same timeframe, why is the growth rate shown to be MOVING

I was wondering, when Garou's page gets opened from a CRT or Vs Battle.

You guys are fine with me changin his page, like fixing his P&A with a Border. Adding Japanese for his Techniques and adding statistics Values for AP, Durability, Speed etc.
You'd have to make a CRT for that stuff, but sure go ahead once you're allowed
 
Perception based, he sees, understands, uses it. if you wanted to give it an usable timeframe. At most 0.0013 second.
Ok i just got a brainblast. Either its the sleep deprivation making me go crazy or i just realized something big

like yeah if we assume its perception based, wherein he decides to copy. But unless its a continous stream, the power is still instantly applied on his person right?

Then wouldn't it mean that when the graph is showing the rise of said power, those lines going up should also be in the same timeframe of instant?

Unless each increment on those lines is garou copying?

so when on the graph is garou copying?
