I really hope it's not the end of the arc next chapter...

It's only been 85 pages since Empty Void first appeared as genjutsu flash and 55 pages since Blast showed up (42 pages of Blast action before Saitama intervened). If these are really half chapters which will be later merged as I have been told, the entire Flashy vs ninjas fight up until Void's defeat/retreat won't even be a full volume's worth of content.

I know this fight was never going to be as long as Cosmic Garou vs Saitama or something like that, but at least it could be as long as a fight like Tatsumaki vs Psykorochi (135 pages from the fusion's complete appearance to Tatsumaki coughing up blood during the twist) or longer than Garou vs Darkshine (56 pages from sleeping Garou wailing on a flexing darkshine to Darkshine being floated away).

I mean, seriously! We're talking about Blast's real debut fight against a god-level monster who's the key to unlocking the final boss. Not is that just narratively a top 10 (maybe top 5?) most important fight in the series, it's also the fight with the most choreography potential so far- Blast and Void could easily have all kinds of insane feats and abilities we haven't seen yet. I'll be disappointed if Empty Void gets KOed in the next 20 pages.
My guy it’s obviously not the end of the arc next chapter lol why would you even think that

Definitely not. Still didn't see his last bird-like form, We saw his flashback only now. we don't even know what really happened, explaining all of it in one chapter and even ending the fight doesn't seem likely at all.

Bro the bird form isn’t real it was re drawn into the new cosmic form that not even blast recognized as he comments he’s even stronger then his base blast would mention if void had another form that he was hiding like void even looks like garou which means that’s him accepting and utilizing gods/garou power

I'll continue to believe, at least until the fight ends.

What I’m interested in is seeing what happens with saitama this next chapter and if he interacts with void more

Saitama is quite literally so close to them I can’t believe blast and them can’t see him there’s actually no way saitama just stands right at the edge of the forest next chapter the entire time right he’s definitely going to appear

This is the reason why people are saying it's going to end soon. How do you continue Blast vs Void when Void doesn't have his swords and Saitama is 20 feet away from a fight he can't possibly not notice? They'll have to go extradimensional in some way that Blast can follow

By the way, Death Battle just did a cast with Saitama. In it, they mentioned a lot of the recent feats.

Seems even they are going with the interpretation of this stuff scaling Saitama's interaction to higher dimensional levels. Neat
Death Battle is sometimes, not very...very them

Tbf Liam was trying to push it but the others were pretty iffy.

just because saitama is here doesn’t mean the fight is automatically over lol

It does seem like EV might have been defeated right there. His body-shaped crater is reminiscent of his defeat in the webcomic. He probably isn't dead but could be incapacitated. Hopefully not. I really would like to see him fight without his blades especially.

And yeah if this was how the arc ends I would be severely disappointed. The fight had so much hype and build up but this was pretty...mid, to be honest. Mid by Murata's standards I mean, not mid in general. Like this is nothing compared to Saitama Vs. Garou which was running on a similarly tight schedule.

"He probably is not dead"bro, he woke up and tried to leave again

The strange thing is that Void fell into that effect of God's Cube, when he is supposed to be god's avatar already, so I can't imagine what repercussions it could have that.
ignore this shit

Now that Void doesn't have the swords he'll have to come up with some hidden ability or he's cooked.

Next OPM match has to be a win anyway because we already got screwed over by pitting Genos against War Machine and Saitama vs Popeye for some godforsaken reason

Does death battle even do higher dimension shenanigans? Or they believe that 3-d hax can affect 4-d resistance?

Iirc they did it with Darkseid ( Darkseid vs Thanos) because hia higher-D stuff was very very blatant. But they usually avoid it like the plague/ won't use it if it's not a very direct part of a character's arsenal.

I mean, Saitama loses most if not all of his more popular matchups. Loses to popeye, loses to superman, loses to goku, loses to krillin, loses to Squirrel girl.
The ones he wins are Captain underpants and evil superman clones

Prediction

What if Blast not only gained Void's memories but also learned the location of the hyperspace due to temporarily merging with Void? Then, when Void teleports to the hyperspace, Blast also teleports there and punches Void back to the 3D world, just like Saitama did.

Haha, well they can do Garou now.

That way they'll at least get 1 OPM match-up right, every other time an OPM character has gotten a death-battle it's like 6 months to a year before they get massive upgrades.

Tatsumaki vs Mob was right before the Psykorochi fight, when it went from debatable to a stomp.;

Genos vs War Machine also happened right before the Psykorochi, when it would have gone from a loss to a stomp the other way around.
Literally they cite War Machine's meteor feat when Genos gets a statement saying 'anything you can do, I can do better.' right at the start of the psykorochi fight, hah.

The outcome of Saitama vs Popeye probably won't significantly change until Saitama fights God.
