Tree.

Steve starts at base, and has two and a half days of prep to figure out how to kill the darned Tree. He knows that simply punching it won't work.

Fight takes place in the Minecraft world.

Who wins?

Composite Human, but blocks: 5 (Saikou, Zach, Smashor, Dinobot, VersusJunkie)

A God Damn Tree: 0

Mob Player Horde
This player dreamed of sunlight and trees. Of fire and water. It dreamed it created. And it dreamed it destroyed. It dreamed it hunted, and was hunted. It dreamed of shelter.

A f**king tree

Milk counters the tree's poisons and Steve could certainly find a way to destroy the tree from afar, be it with dispensers of fireballs or TNTs. Hell, even the fumes produced by the tree could be escaped by fleeing into the Nether.

Steve completely murder stomps into oblivion; you put a guy that cuts down forest (and owns a ton of explosives), that can cut down forests while being attacked by monsters, Steve does what he does literally every day of the week

Pretty sure the Composite Tree isn't what Steve faces every day of the week, Trees in Minecraft don't give poison.

Steve lacks a gas mask so if he comes without milk he's boned due to poison.

^ he's survived poison from the spiders and why would he run out of milk; he can carry atleast 5 of them (giant lowball it's been awhile since I've played Minecraft) and he could just place a bunch of tnt and run away

are you trolling? 36 milk buckets will never be enough to survive, and he will also need to place like acres of tnt.

actually Steve could just destroy surroundings or create massive lava hole and uproot the tree and nether heat burns woods slowly produced by portal and he could hide there if situation is dangerous. And Tree range is out of range cause the tactics rather than attack forward.

Also there's totem of undying, notch apple and enderpearl was a life saving items.

Lava would solidify. None of these are eternal. Also, you seem to not realize that CT is enormous

This isn't real-life lava so big difference. No. And?

Minecraft Lava is eternal, until suffused with solid objects or interact with liquids, don't contradict Minecraft canon physics and Minecraft-Lava is far hotter than Nether Heat, and not game mechanic cause microsoft now added an official minecraft liquid physics if you don't know.

Even CT is enormous in size and I assume you underestimate high level axe's enchantments cause it could easily cuts CT's durability and Trident has now in Minecraft latest version (released now!) is good advantage against CT in mobility and range combat.

Even though, reproduction take a very long time to grow. If this battle was in SKY BLOCK or SKY ISLAND, CT would easily defeated due extreme advantage, even no, Steve could take off poisons, and better Intelligence so building floating buildings is safe area for Steve during mid-fight, and he could use TNT speed up destructions.

additional note: constant fire or minecraft fire block is hotter than Nether Heat. these minecraft fires could be produced by Enchantments via bow & arrow and flint and steel. heck people really underestimate Minecraft fire physics(it's canon) cause minecraft fires live long, as for proof there's called Flame II enchantments, and minecraft fire could live longer than real-life fires, and minecraft fire could burn in rocks but doesn't spread unlike wood materials.

heck I forgot beacon..... anyway Steve FRRA(for random reasons above)

Steve 8 (Saikou, Zach, Smashor, Dinobot, VersusJunkie, Jamesthetaker, StrongBot3000, Davidgumazon)

Composite Tree 2 (Ricsi-viragosi, RRTheEndMan)

i-dont-know (Unimportantalt, Edwardtruong2006)

"Heck" sir this is a christian server so no swearing, but i'll let you off with a warning this time.

In all seriousness though its weird how often people forget about beacons since their so useful. Need an AP bonus?, how about a speed boost? Or maybe some Regenerationn? No problem just stay in this 50x50 meter area.

You don't seem to realize that all those things aren't eternal. They will run out. Steve will take minutes to take down Hyperion because of sheer size even without poison. with poison he'd have to eat a bucket of milk every 10 seconds without even taking in account the venom spreaded by cutting. No prior knowledge so he wouldn't even think that. Hyperion may fall on his head. And there are literal thousands of them in the forest

Your argument assumes that Steve will just try and punch the tree to death even after realizing he's dying from the poison. Once he realizes that, he will take the necessary precautions against that, such as attacking from afar.

2 and a half daylight cycles. That's 50 minutes. More than enough time to build an iron axe, Flint and steel, or even a bucket and run down into a ravine or cave system and grab some lava. 50 minutes is more than enough time for Steve to kill a tree.

Okay if Steve gets a full 60 hours, that means 180 daylight cycles. Trust me when I say that Steve starting at base is irrelevant here. Within 180 daylight cycles, Steve would be able to get an enchanted diamond axe, a few buckets of lava, and some fire res pots. Steve doesn't even need milk. Poison can only harm him and bring him to the brink of death, not actually kill him. Steve has all the time in the world to kill the tree, and the tree can't even kill Steve.

no prep time, and tree can kill steve

Doesn't matter if it's big. It's still a tree. Its offensive capacities are so limited, Steve will have no problem managing to stay out of range and have all the time in the world to do the deed.

in the time he gets enougth far away to not be affected by the poison he'll die. Also, how can he attack the tree from afar?

The tree's poison isn't that fast. And all the stuff mentioned before that can be used to resist the poison WILL be used in that timeframe.

I don't know. Mechanisms? Arrows? Summoning? Hell, creating a portal? Tons of ways.

arrows are going to create a hole in the tree...
When the arrows can harm room to building level opponents yeah; and he could just toss lava on it and let it burn to the ground

in fact, a hole isn't enought
