Starman DX has the AP and Dura advantage, plus, I don't think a supposedly wet sponge would do well against attacks like PSI Freeze. Also, Starman DX can call for help. Also, knowing Spongebob, he'll likely fall victim to Brainshock― which will leave him wide open for further attacks. He has a history of not taking things seriously at first.
