Spongebob can tank more liquids on him unlike the inkling, so this should be fair.

Spongebob doesn't have the durability to survive the shots or the AP to harm inkling.

He has, unlik most attacks, the inkling only uses ink, something Spongebob has shown to be capable of absorbing, as for the AP, a direct shoot of water should one shot the inkling.

No, but the inkling is very weak to water, he can also defend himself with some bubbles.

I really don't think either one has a way to put the other down? Both have mid-high Regenerationn, and Spongebob can literally run circles around the inkling, plus toon force and teleportation will make it hard for the inkling to put down the sponge.
