The profile is so messy...

So this vehicle/weapon/location is kind of odd. As Hop has noticed, it has 5 main issues.

1. A proper summary (it lacks one, period)

2. A link or proper justification for it's 2nd tiering with the Chaos Emeralds (It has never done this feat, and not to push buttons, but how is going from 4 to 7 emeralds go from 1/4 the moon, to an entire planet?)

3. The weakness(?) was firstly, never something that may have happened, as it was in Shadow's mind during the events of the game, none of which are truly canon. Second issue, they were all defeated by Shadow. Another thing, how are they a weakness? It is not specific, or a reason given why

4. Is this the game? Is this a comic version? What about the cartoon? This profile seems kind of "unanimous" or "composite"

5. Is this what we consider a vehicle? It has room for people inside, thousandss, likely. Or is it a weapon, even though that is not it's primary function? Is it a location? It goes around orbit, so it's never static.
 
Do you have a solid reason other than that?

A solar plant is powered by the Sun and those aren't 4-C.

Don't assume Eggman's grandfather and Black Doom where that capable. If they were, they would have little need for Shadow if their technology was that far ahead.
 
What's to say the ARK is directly, taking in 100% of the Emeralds' power?

You missed the point of what I said. How do we know that

powered by X = 100% of X's power?

in this case, the ARK and C.E.
 
The fact that it wouldn't make sense for Eggman to not use 100% of its power if he wanted to use it.

Why...just why?

It's not about choice, it's about whether or not the ARK is CAPABLE of utilizing the full power of the Emeralds.
 
Well, the ARK being large planet (or MSS after the upgrades) wouldn't seem consistent, but I do agree the profile is in need of serious cleanup.
 
According to the Sonic News Network, it had six emeralds when it blew up the moon. With five, it leveled a city. This suggests to me that the increase in power is exponential. Furthermore, the whole thing was rigged by Gerald Robotnik to crash and destroy the planet with all seven emeralds in Adventure 2. I don't know why you're questioning it's Planet level rating.

I'm pretty sure the profile is based on the games, just missing some information. For one, the Black Arms should be added as one of it's users.

Artificial Chaos are not limited to it's appearances in Shadow the Hedgehog. They were also everywhere on it in Adventure 2 (e.g., Lost Colony, Eternal Engine, Cannon's Core) and sometimes even outside of it (e.g., Meteor Herd, Mad Space).

I don't think it'd class as a vehicle, as to my knowledge, it's immobile except for orbiting the Earth. More like a weapon (for the Eclipse Cannon) and a location.

Lastly, add to it's weaknesses that it needs to recharge for a full day after firing.
 
Those are all great points. What are your suggestions for the Tiering? Also we need to specify this: How is the artificial chaos a weakness to the ARK? The attack staff, but not really disrupt major functions of the machine. Think the BioLizard is more a of a threat than those things.
 
I don't know why the fact that it's overrun with Artificial Chaos is considered a weakness. It may be for the people living inside of it, but not for the ARK itself.

The Biolizard was killed at the end of Adventure 2.

My suggestions for the tiering are 7-B with 5 emeralds, possibly higher if someone calcs it, 6-A with 6 emeralds (again, might be higher if calced), and 5-B at full power.
