Does he even know how strong both omniman and homelander are? I am going to imagine he doesn't know and just assumes that because They are "Evil Superaen" means that they are strong as him, which is a strong overstatement. (Can't wait to see downplayers use this as "evidence" that sonic is wall level while super sonic is larget planet level and at most start level, which at least is somewhat of a compliment)

Ian has been contradicted by his superiors before, and Bumblekast isn't that credible unless other material/higher ups confirm or support the notion.

Also how do you excuse Orbot and Cubot existing in Prime? Seriously, how? I don't understand how that can be justified unless you want to ignore character inconsistencies. I have said this on my previous post about Prime so I will not repeat any further.

Are you insinuating Sonic's character in Prime is exactly how he was in Forces? That Sonic lives in Green Hill... and only Green Hill? That he considers himself a hero? I'm sorry for being aggressive but c'mon now.

The latest prototype of Orbot existed in Sonic Unleashed, people excuse Prime by using Early games where Sonic was less experienced, but even that makes no sense.

well, some of the contradictions can be solved by where it is in the timeline, so i feel like it would be best to wait the show to finish before drawing any conclusions, it is my opinion tho

well, we Iizuka saying that the objective is to make all sonic media connected, so there is that, plus he said that he "knew" aka, some higher up told him where it fits

.... I'll just find my last post about Prime because everything you said I addressed, yes even Iizuka means something else, not "connected universe" in the way you're thinking og.

Using a few vague statements doesn't cut it for me at all, especially when it makes 0 sense for them to be the same.

For anyone arguing that Prime's behavior can be dismissed as happening in Sega's past, here's the problem with that:
Orbot and Cubot exist in Sonic Prime and Deven Mack, aka the VA for Sonic voices them.
Orbot was made by Eggman to kill time
The earliest robot resembling Orbot and likely the prototype version of him is this guy in Sonic Unleashed

You can't possibly convince me Sonic is anywhere near the Egotistical and cocky bastard he was in Prime, especially considering how Sonic was like during Sonic during Unleashed.
Also Cubot is there.

Somebody is gonna argue Colors Sonic = Prime... which if you even think about it, still makes no sense!
Sega Sonic and Prime Sonic are characterized almost completely differently, not even Pontaff Sonic is close to the Prime interpretation.

And if you need examples, there are people that highlight exactly why Prime should not be considered Sega Sonic.

If you ignore the threads and tweets you will not understand why I think Prime and Sega should be separated. And thus you shouldn't respond to this message. There are far too many inconsistencies in both lore, characterization and not even the W.O.G. necessarily support this notion.

I know it'll be a pain for editors to add a different page, but it's better to not spread misconceptions, we need to be accurate as possible.

Not really, especially if you look at the JP versions.
Colors' writing style was more comedic based and Forces was a more serious premise. Obviously there would be differences, not exactly the fault of the character itself (Colors Sonic still mid asf)

the style of jokes and how sonic handled situations was pretty different
 
Can we please not open the continuity and consistency old wounds again?

We shouldn't even be using Twitter or any other social media Q&As for downgrades/upgrades where leading questions are rampant (WoG should only really be supplementary material at the very best not the crux of a jurisdiction), until Prime is finished I suggest holding off any other further CRTs related to it.

That said at this point I'm conflicted when it comes to Prime actually being canon to the games or not, on one had it's nice to see Sonic get a new animated (fully fledged) series but on the other hand I dislike Netflix, the show has impressive feats but Sonic's characterization doesn't leave much to be desired and so on.

Tl;dr: I don't really mind what happens to Prime (canon or non-canon wise) as long as it doesn't negatively affect the franchise like Boom.

Nothing for limitless stamina yet but the official Sonic Colors website says the Cyan Wisps' own powers allow Sonic to use the Cyan Laser ability
