Plot
The events are going on just like what happened in Sonic 06, except that Sonic and Elise ended up in Mount Paozu.

Elise is deeply shocked as she looks at Sonic's corpse and before she cries, Goku stands again with a blue flaming aura and silver eyes, looking to Elise and asks her to not cry and that he can revive Sonic but he will not forgive the guy who kill His friend and will destroy him
Goku and Mephiles stand face to face ready for a difficult fight
