Aruka Schild VS Yang Xiao Long (Season 5). Speed is equalized. For reference Yang is 2 tons (without Semblance) and Aruka is ~4.9 tons.

Aruka - 1 (FateAlbane)

Yang - 4 (Bambu, Schnee, TheRustyOne, Blaginski)

Incon -

Yang has a lot more going for her, all things considered- ranging from forcefields to regen, that pretty heavily tilts it in her favor. What is the application of her molecular hax?

Am I stupid? I'm feeling stupid right now, am I missing something?

High 8-C vs 8-B... Okay I'm positive I'm missing something.

It can makes the molecules vibrate at high speed, causing them to break and melting its target. At long range is cause typical fire, heat and explosive effects, but the minimal contact will cause melting.

Is the difference that high? I though Yang was considerable above baseline, being capable to boost herself; you can consider Aruka being baseline since there's no calc.

Where the hell does this come from? Who told you she was far above it?

Yang is baseline.
Are you sure? I recall Weekly telling otherwise... Mmm, so difference is at most x8, guess I can unequalize, at most x8 Ap and at most x3.67 Speed, fair enough?

Other RWBYs are 8-B btw.

BTW why IS this girl 8B?
^This girl's justification for baseline 8B is terrible

Overpowering a High 8C is just a higher end of it, unless she overpowered the 8B+, by which she's over 20x stronger

You may be right, perhaps, I'll just scale her to Riru's casual ~4.9 tons

Fair enough, good I make revisions disgusized as vsthreads. Now consider Aruka to being ~4.9 tons, that is just 2.45 times Yang's AP.

Honestly I vote for Yang. Aruka doesn't have much going for her, whereas Yang at least has some other abilities aside from Heat (regen, forcefield, etc).

Yeah despite the AP advantage Yang wins in every category

Going her for Bambi's reasons

Voting Yang for Bambi's reasons.

Her AP advantage is useful, but it won't help much.

Take into account that Aruka can ignore durability with physical contact; still counting votes of course, just to make it notice.

Physical contact requires breaching a forcefield, tho. But noted.

Does she use the shield in melee combat? Like, a energy layer that cover her skin?

And I guess that protects her from matter manipulation. But can the shield be broken?

I'll say Aruka. Unless Yang's Forcefield has feats of stopping hax at the molecular level, she sort of really only needs one hit to vibrate her molecules until she evaporates like this pencil . Like, Goku has forcefields. Doesn't mean they would stop some Saint from breaking him down at the atomic level anyway.

FRA were presented by Bambu and I'm not sure if they count.

Regen is useless as Aruka can instantly vaporize so it can and will bypass that if Aruka gets the one hit.

Forcefields are also useless against Molecular lvl hax unless they show feats to be effective at that scale, tbh.

So variety is a non-issue. In fact, Aruka having a "go-to insta-win hax if it connects" works in *her* favor here more than Yang.

Long story short, Goku suddenly using a forcefield wouldn't stop Seiya from atomically punching him because the forcefield isn't shown to work at those levels.

In much the same manner, Yang using a forcefield isn't stopping Aruka from dissolving her at the molecular level from within as long as she hits her either.

It's the same reasoning - no feats, not working.

Also now that I noticed Aruka also ending up as the one with the AP advantage mid-thread, this all but seals the deal on her winning this.

I don't think you understand the severity of what you just said

''Weekly intensifies''

I'm pretty sure I do.

Someone with higher AP punches the other character with Molecular Lvl Hax, which consists in making you evaporate from within by moving your molecules.

Said forcefield hasn't shown any resistance or occasion of withstanding said effect.

The obvious result of being hit by a higher force and hax it holds no resistance against is that it works. Otherwise it's crystal clear NLF territory.

I mean, I wouldn't even disagree myself. It's just what you've started with that statement.

Nah, I'm not that up for debating Aruka or NLF to hell and back.

If the above point gets a counter-statement, even if it's "Fish!", I will immediately accept it as wrong and give up the thread. ovo
