It's from his recent 2014 volume, and hasn't been contradicted so far in the ongoing 2016 one

Basically this.

Yes, Space and Time and everything were destroyed by the Beyonders but he wasn't affected directly. He still existed in the present, and after the Cosmic Retcon he still survived because the universe was reformed.

By this logic every DC Hero ever is Acausal for surving Multiversal Crisises.

(Technically both Barry Allen and Hal Jordan are the same from Pre-Crisis)

I agree with Matthew about the acausality. The Surfer escaped outside of the multiverse before it was destroyed. This does not make him immune to cause and effect, or to being erased from time.

I am uncertain about void manipulation and resurrection. I have read his entire current series, and do not remember that he has used such abilities. I am also too short on time to reread entire issues of the series. Can you upload the specific page scans instead?

The ring was made from Surfer's own body, Surfer is run by power cosmic so of course it revived him. It's like saying Surfer can shoot energy blast because he has power cosmic so the feat doesn't apply to him. I don't get your analogy here

Did Surfer lose the powers he got from Shaper? I don't see why its unusable. Anyway Matthews and all the other staff members agree with Resurrection and Void manipulation

The Surfer was low on energy and dying, but absorbed small amounts of it that he had lost previously, which saved his life, so he could recuperate. That is not resurrection.

He lost the Shaper's power, yes. It was just a temporary power-up, and he did not even use void manipulation, but creation. We cannot upgrade based on inaccurate information. The other staff members may not be familiar with the series, or remember it wrong.
