Now with Ganondorf defeated, Hyrule celebrates! Accept not at all. Because there's a murdurous virus robot. It's kind of replacing one problem with another. As such, the hero of Hyrule, Legend, Time, the Wind, Trains, etc... decides to stop him. But not before doing god knows what for one year.

Dunno if this is officially necro or not, but Ganondorf has enemies in that dark world that bypass Link's resistance to transmutation with the moon pearl.
