Quick question but are these VNs any good? The whole Nazism thing somewhat turns me off if it's being glorified but that is just me
Eh, Dies Irae barely focuses on the fact the LDO is Nazis and since they are the antagonists it seems excusable to me at least when I read it.

I mean I'm open to reading things that involve Nazis, I was just told that the creator was genuinely trying to glorify them so that turned me off. As long as it isn't anything like that it's fine with me! Where can I find these games?

Dies Irae is on steam. K3 is untranslated and I dunno where to find it lol. Paradise Lost is also untranslated, so just head to steam for Dies Irae.

They're not Nazis. they are Reinhard's personal army.
In the opening we literally see the LDO killing Nazis lmao.
Reinhard insulting Hitler and calling him foolish.
I don't see how references to Nazis and Hitler = supporting National Socialism.

The LDO see all humans as trash, not just a particular race, I mean every drugged-up superpower wielding villain sees humanity as "trash". It's a chuuni game and should be seen as such. Like the saying goes. "Don't judge a book by its cover."
I've actually been rereading Dies Irae in 日本語 (Primarily because I forgot all of 神座万象 references inside 相州戦神館學園八命陣・万仙陣。

The clip below is kinda spoilers

I think people just assume that all villains that come from Nazi Germany are Nazis lol. Ngl I sorta did to until this post.

Fax. I think people get the misconception based on Die Morgendammerung, but even that isn't quite accurate. And Reinhard just kills everyone, regardless of who it is

I mean, technically, in Die Morgendammerung, Reinhard was a literal Nazi in terms of his affiliation lol. I think people take it as if you are affiliated with or you hold a position of power(Like Reinhard did) in Germany then your a Nazi. For a time the LDO members were members of the SS so this makes more sense in the way people interpret them as being Nazis.

Well, the fact that most are based on real life Nazis and that Spinne is pretty proud of what happened in Warsaw Ghetto and stuff sure doesn't help.

While they clearly never truly held Nazi ideology (if anything there's a huge Nordic theme), it's still pretty edgy and more rememberable that "Nazi officer is a god who loves everyone".

Imo Amakasu Masahiko, despite also being based on an arguably controversial military figure, is handled with more care on that aspect.

I mean It just depends on which member, Some of the LDO are originally nazis no? like how Lisa and Elenore use to constantly compete to rise in the ranks and how Lisa was head of the birthing department, to produce perfect soldiers etc.

Eleonore, Beatrice, Lisa, Rusalka cause she was a part of Ahnenerbe, Spinne, Machina, and Reinhard were all Nazis I think. Wilhelm, Schreiber, and all the Japanese members weren't actual Nazis.

So, If I wanted to use some scans for that blog, should I use the Scan from the Raw Novel or is the Summaries fine?

Wdym by part of ahnenerbe? and irrc she never was a nazi cus after she spent 80 yrs looking for Mercerius all it said is that she met Reinhard and the other LDO guys not that she actually became a nazi,
1 2

though I could be mistaken

Ngl, but that was one of the weirdest and strangely funny moments in Ikabey. Weird shit.
I was mostly thinking of his rant to Ren in the main VN. I actually kinda like Ikabey's Spinne having a bit more characterization.

You can buy Dies Irae on Steam, but if you generally want to buy native Japanese games, then use Fanza DMM, which has the most selection of Japanese games you can purchase. (Had to censor some pictures, due to showing too much skin).

The annoying part was that you had to use a Japanese VPN to access and making purchases on their site, which is really annoying, because the same thing happened to me when I wanted to purchase the book プロペラオペラ (Propella Opera) which didn't let me use my card at first, then found out that Amazon requires you to have a legitimate Japanese address and also use a Japanese VPN.

Buying all 神座万象 separately is expensive, I think you can get the Masada collection or you can search for cheaper options like I did on Amazon (via proxy service if you live outside of Japan or you can get someone you know well to ship to you).

I don't speak or read Japanese so this is unfortunately useless information to me specifically lol.

I mean, I think that's kinda the whole point of Ikabey is that it fleshes out the LDO more than what they got in DI, so Ikabey fleshing out Spinne is basically a given. Albeit, more info on him would have been nice.
