@Ricsi as with all nukes, it depends entirely on how far away it is, however I don't think Prions would be affected purely on the radiation. That said, humans aren't getting anywhere near the blast area for a good while.
The heat would if it is too close.

If it is contained, SP could become the overlord of humanity and force them to nuke it.

Oh, lol. You can get the same effect with incineration, tbh. A nuke wouldn't be necessary.

Yeah, prions aren't surviving that, and if they do they wouldn't really be able to transmit unless someone decided to lick the pile of toxic ashes.
