Yeah, since my last post I've also read Agnaa's opinion on the matter, which you fail to bring up. I find that infinitely fascinating, given that position (among others, of course) was made against Zark's and Ultima's.

Since you fail to mention these positions, I will lay them out for the rest of the class: We have, effectively, two options with SCP in terms of what we can allow and what we cannot. We can either do what we currently do, and operate solely based on what is on the wiki. Or, we can accept everything and all things because muh Creative Commons, which allows all fanfiction (which, again, has its own site).

You continue to argue for the latter without, I think, considering what it is you're arguing. Creative Commons dictates that literally anything written for SCP that includes the license, is immediately allowable, which is one of the most braindead takes I've heard on this site, and it breaks my damn heart to see it come from you specifically. A comparable case (something you have never produced) would be the argument that the entirety of the Touhou fanfiction archive is perfectly allowable, as that is also listed under Creative Commons (and is actually more regulated than SCP!).

For ****'s sake, I regret even mentioning the Creative Commons to you, as you've taken it and looked at every problem with it and thought "gee, what a catch! Now everything made for SCP is canon!"

After much deliberation, Secret Lab and other SCP works under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license won't be allowed on the wiki due to the simple fact that it makes any and all works with the license "official" which is a slippery slope we do not want to tumble down.

Only official SCP wiki canon will be accepted on the site.
