Saitama's alarm clock is angry

Why are you guys ignoring the fact that Saitama can pulverize the clock with a light touch? It literally has no durability rating and its 3-A rating comes from a Vice article. Fix the dumbass profile before making a versus thread 🗿

It's said that the foundation was unable to damage It in any way, can be little info but unless we get more cannon on the alarm clock, it is at least as durable as It's sound waves

how does someone forget to IDK list durablity

true but still dumb how more reasearch isn't made on specifically it's limits

Well... altrough this is the only thing talking about It's resistence in the original SCP file
Attempts to dismantle SCP-498 have not been successful in preventing it from activating, nor have they determined how it operates without an obvious power source
.... hum Would be a mother funk1ng headch to make a revision of this SCP that isn't even really a important one

The SCP is poorly written and so is the profile 🗿

Well, going back to start, sinse SCP-498 is really simple, It can be resumed as

"you can't destroy It'

"It will go off every so often"

"The longer It's ringing more Dangerous It is"

"You need to press the snooze button every time to stop It"

If we want to keep this debate going this is probable the best way...

but just trough of a thing, the alarm clock don't seen able to survive It's own Black hole, so Saitama would win by surviving Inside of It? idk, I'M LOSTING MY TROUGHS

It's said that the foundation was unable to damage It in any way
it doesn't really say that, it just says that disassembling it didn't stop it from functioning, that's just Immortality type 2

I like the article though. Good punchline at the end.

SCP-498 "attacks" through sound waves, which require air as a medium to travel through. Or, making assumptions about SCP-498's supernatural nature, it would have to create sound waves... which are vibrating air.

A Black Hole would absorb any & all matter, air -vibrating or not- included? So wouldn't the black hole absorb 498's sound, preventing it from actually damaging anything?

The clock's parts, however, could still release sound... they'd just still be in the black hole & still get absorbed.

"Clock's attack speed (the sound he emits) is equalized to Saitama's speed"

So does the clock have Massively FTL attack speed? because if 1800 seconds have passed then the clock would be emitting 720 decibels, which is ludicrously higher than Saitama's sound threshold of only 240 decibels, can he survive that?

11 minutes is 294 decibels lol

30 minutes is 750 decibels, which is 10^63 joules/(m²*s), something Saitama can withstand.

Anyway, this is a stomp, either invulnerability shouldn't be on its profile and Saitama oneshots, or invulnerability is true and Saitama gets consumed by the Black hole.

Could change this to Blast or Garou, but I think that their portal creation would make this a stomp too, so please someone close this.

No, what you mean is that this matchup is a mismatch at worst.

Plus, you fail to consider the Clock also withstanding its own soundwaves while also being in its own blackhole as well.
