Yeh, but it doesnt even matter when characters already meet theirself in canon, or do u think that Goku needs "pRiOR knOwledGe" against Vegeta despite that they know theirself in canon? Prior knowledge only works when the characters doesnt know theirselfs

It doesnt even have a point, saitama already knows Boros and Boros knows saitama, prep time alone would be way more useful than "prior knowledge", as prep time can help Boros to create tricks against saitama
