Note: After reforming he coughed up blood because that strike was able to hurt his actual power level (cultivation base), which no regen currently in the verse can fix. Something I didn't want to leave out.

Hmm...never though of this point in all xianxia/xuanhuan novels I've read since most of them have some body/fleshly refiniment techniques that transform their bodies.
