RWBY Discussion thread 2

Pretty sure Ozpin should go with Others...he isn't part of Ozpins inner circle or Beacon.

Seriously though, seems no one can argue my points rip

Yeah it was stated in the show that he was amplifying her, as nice as 7-B weiss would be it unfortunately doesnt count

Even though semblances can be used without aura (Yang's Volume 5 character short ;)) and the aspect of her summoning being the Queen Lancer. The lancer has shown impressively high strength of course, nothing that would disprove being 7-B (except get one shot by Hazel, but it was still posing big trouble for a while), and the aura amplification could just mean it has enough power for Weiss to simply summon the Lancer for the first time rather than completely boost it. Even though Weiss has only really shown to be able to decrease a summons power (by reducing it in size and such) and other than that, not being able to boost its power as a whole?

I am curious about something.

How was Ozpin High 7A in the first place back when his base was 7A?

168x5 is 840 megatons correct?

If there's another thing I'm missing I may have a quick thing to change about Oz and Salem's page

Because Wizard Oz was >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the four maidens combined to the point where even Ozpin while weakened was still able to put up a decent fight against Cinder. Ozpin is significantly weaker than the Wizard when he first gave the Maidens their powers, but he was still strong enough to fight against one

Fair enough, that's what I thought, but plugging in different numbers from the revised storm calc and use the same formula, Shouldn't Ozpin be M+?

Now we hope for more RWBY characters

Personally want Mercury, he would make a killer, and creatable unique moveset, but I doubt he will get in ;-;

Why? Jaune is a total waste of a slot. He's a good character, but he barely has anything unique other than a sword and a shield. Assuming this is all pre v5, but even then he hardly has a moveset. He'd be a joke character at best

We got so many more viable candidatea too, like Penny, Pyrrha, Sun, Nora, Ren, Roman, Cinder

I wouldn't waste RWBYs limited spots with joke characters when there are people like Nora and Pyrrha
I been thinking very long about this......

But if they going to Add another character of Rwby.....then why not make Jaune Into Ginyu? (Have his team as Move set) i mean Jaune strong point is his leadership and His team anyway and you get 4 character in one.

That might work in a game like FighterZ, but not BBCTB. And the rest of jnpr are their own people, having them act as the rest of the irrelevant ginyu force is meh.

No jaune

No, its just a cluster of characters all in one. The ginyu force works, but the rest of JNPR works OUTSIDE of Jaune. Seriously, who would make Pyrrha and Nora part of an assist

Anybody noticed that the Sea Dragon's durability is Large Building level for taking hits from Blake and Sun as they could only damage its thin wings... but Blake and Sun are rated as Large Building level for damaging the Sea Dragon?

Isn't that a bit circular?

I don't know if I want to make a revision thread about it yet, but I think we should be trying to remove cases of circular reasoning.

do you guys recommend I continue watching RWBY?

I dropped the series after Monty Oum passed away as I felt that he was the spirit of RWBY, also I just loved him as an animator.

however the other day I started watching some of the new intro's for RWBY and thought maybe I should continue where I left off.

so is it any good?

No. It's terrible. The writing is laughable, fight choreography sucks except for only a couple of fights out of entire volumes, and the characters are completely disappointing.

Really? I felt that since we couldn't have good fight scenes anymore, the team would move on to plot driven seasons. I really felt that in season 5. Plus, Cinder vs Raven was actually good.
