Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

I'm leaning toward a short ban simply because this is an active user that is completely aware of our rules and yet still chose to go the vandalism route with some really weird stuff to boot. Genuinely don't care about the beef that seems to be going on either, that can be hashed out privately and that's not an excuse for vandalism

I honestly agree with Clover, he is already a long time user here and knows how things are handled. It was good laughs but it still vandalism (and even more by putting weird things on the profile) and even more when confronted, his defense is.... As if he knew he screwed up.

So something small would be acceptable, 1 week would be nice IMO.
 
I also agree with a 1 week ban. I've banned them for a week on the wiki as I believe we have enough approval to do so. Someone else should probably ban their forum account.

I was previously warned by AKM to not use the block tool as a content moderator, unless it's extreme vandal cases. I thought I told you on Discord before but then I remember the person I actually told this to was Catzlaflame. Anyways, yeah, keep this in mind.

I think that a 2 to 4 weeks ban seems more appropriate though, so Giannysmag takes this issue more seriously, and does not cause further problems in the future.
 
I feel like a year or permaban should take place, just by the nature of that post.

We do not allow that kind of attitude, and attempting to bypass a slur filter like that really isn't a good sign; reminds me of when YuriAkuto did something similar.
 
Going by precedent, users were banned for a minimum of 3 months for a similar offence. Though considering that he didn't direct that word to anyone but rather a fictional character, I'll be fine with a minimum of 2 months.
 
I am also fine with a 2 or 3 months ban for him. 🙏

While he did apologize, the way he did it sounds more overdramatic than necessary, which usually means something is off about it. Not saying that is proof of not being sincere, but I still think a short ban for a month is a considerably reasonable compromise yes.
