Ruby Rose (RWBY) vs Jonathon Joestar (Jojo's Bizarre Adventures)

He didn't.

Joesph, using the very same powersource, did.

Joseph did. Za warudo had to mud punch pull back because of hermit purple wired suit filled with hamon. The hamon would have damaged za warudo hence Dio applauding Joseph of the trick that almost defeated him. (Then punching debree at Joseph preventing hp hamon).

Unless ya wanna debate different hamon exist and joseph had soul damaging hamon.

Joseph had a lot more training and experience with Hamon than Jonathan ever did, having the same power source means nothing

Weekly. Hamon is hamon. Yeah Joseph had more profiency and experuence. Hamon wouldnt magically get soul damaging property.

Oh so the Hamon never actually did damage za warudo. Okay then, why are you using it as an argument?
Because the hamon.would gave hence why dio had to stop and find a different method of attack? And jseph doing that at all meaning he figured itd work which dio confirmed?.

Dio being specifically weak to Hamon doesn't mean that Hamon would bypass bypass a forcefield of someone who isn't isn't a vampire

Nice try weekly. Hamon could effect za warudo. Za warudo being a soul. The fact hamon could make contact and not just go through za warudo if dio wanted kinda confirms that. The stand punched not dio himself.

Also blitz? A character that was mach 22 while asphyxiating and bleeding out?

Unfortunately most of the fras for jonatahan arent legit as no one has explained how he survives being blitzed and oneshot by ruby's semblance, how he bypasses her aura when hamon has no feats to back up being able to do so, how he can even hit her when her mobility is far greater than his even at close range, and how he counters being aoe frozen or stunned and cut to pieces due to ruby's ap advantage

Ya best be having a jape weekly. He blitz ruby. Not the other way around.

Hamon can phase and has confirmation on working on souls and all that.

He doesnt need to make direct contact. He can conduct hamon throygh plants or grass or netal also water.

He dodges the aoe and counters with his own hax.

Can anyone just make a thread to see if hamon can go through a forcefield? Discussing that while making it look super complex is absurd, honestly.

Umm, lmao. Jojo fan here, never ever heard of hamon working on souls. Now that is some high tier wank.

Yes, Jonathan does have major speed advantage here though. Still don't understand how he hurts Ruby if she just takes pot shots at him from the air, her Gravity shot should **** him up.

It could effect dios stand lord. That is explicit as all hell.

Hueito. Ya putting a high 8-C against a 8-C. Think about that for a second.

Affecting a soul =/= bypassing bypassing a forcefield even if we were to accept that he can affect Souls which he cant

No, hamon could not harm The World. Hamon + Hermit Purple can harm The World, that's why he had to wrap himself up with Hermit Purple. Only a stand can touch another stand.

Weekly? No offense. But stop the shit. If hamon can effect the world it can effect a soul. Or are ya denying that fact? Because to do so would be to deny stands are souls. Which is very clearly agreed upon and made evident through the out jojo. And can very well already phase through shit.

The excuse was hamon cant bypass the ayra becayse of a lack of feats or confirmation of hamon effecting atomless and mattrrless objects or things. Yet hamon can as dio himself confirmed.

Had aura once blocked a thing capable of bypassing defences or phasing? If not ya cant exactly claim aura can weekly.

I'll just leave this here for reference. For clarity sake, DIO had already acknowledged that hamon has already gave him trouble in the past, but it's useless against the power of The World, something to that extent.

And gamon isnt a stand. The hamon wouldnt effect the world otherwise only the stand would. Also he did that to hide the fact he was doing so. That was kinda the whole point.

No, I'm pretty sure Weekly is already aware that a soul = stand. The argument being made is that harming someones soul shouldn't be proof that you can now bypass their forcefield.

Also, even if hamon by itself were to hurt The World, (without the need for Hermit Purple) that only means The World is transfering the hamon to DIO, who then gets hurt. The World is basically just a link to DIO, so not very impressive, and irrelevant if you apply the same logic to Ruby.

The whole point is Joseph can use his stand as a medium for his hamon, allowing the hamon to than travel through The World. By bringing hamon to stands as a medium, it allows him to transfer it to other stands, since they are the same medium.

Except the hamon wouldnt have damaged the world and thus deflect back to Dio in the first place as the hamon would have lacked the ability to even make contact or interact with the stand at all anyway.

And lord. The argument was hamon can phase through walls and all that so it can already phase through things. Hence it could phase through a forcefield. Although the fact that as far as my awareness of rwby goes dont think aura has cockblocked a phasing attack.
