No, aura is a pure enrgy construct, and it only passes through objects.
 
@PTS No, ripple has never shown the ability to go through a forcefield, this was discussed extensively in jonathan vs yang

Yeah? My quick kinda rough calculation got 200-490 tons depending on material. Waiting for a calculation member do a decent calculation of that though. Already posted on the calculation thread. Although the minimum would be class k.
 
Dodging wont help him survive her blitzing him with her semblance with a tornado that can harm high 8-Cs just by being remotely close to her

Maybe it would be hard to react to, but Jonathan should be able to get the hecc out of the way.


And PTSO's suggestion still works, Hamon can in fact phase through stuff.
 
@DMUA Hamon has never shown the ability to go through a forcefield and its not phasing at all.

Jonathan isn't dodging anything when he gets stunned by aoe lightning or frozen solid by analog ice

And yes, she Blitzed pyrrha
 
Hamon phased through things though?

Frozen solid? Solud? Litterally solid? Opposed of freezing around? Also jonathan can probably walk the stun off. Although honestly jonathan dodging and not getting hit at the start anyway may prevent the lightning from doing a stun on him.
 
Hamon going through walls does not automatically mean it can go through energy and forcefields

It freezes him in a block of ice, even if he can melt it he would be left open long enough for ruby to get a solid hit in while he can't defend himswlf
 
Hamon would conduct through the ice and the metal weapon.

Or depending on the location jonathan can hamon and harm ruby from hamon on the ground.
 
I will fix it when i get home, she speedblitz ed all four members of Team jnpr simultaneously and was able to use her semblance to escape Roman restraining her and get a good distance away from him before he even knew she was gone
 
Weapons Weapon in rwby are covered in aura so no, it wouldn't conduct through her weapon until he breaks her aura first

"Jonathan gets close" he gets a tornado to the face and would also need to close in the distance between each other
 
Hamon can pass through objects and shit though? It does that quite often and plenty. What makes aura different than a wall or metal. Jonathan does have feats of phasing hamon through defences.

Because unlike a wall, aura is literally just a barrier of energy.
