He has more Range and more stamina, but Yang is gonna hit harder with her semblance. It won't be as damaging as usual due to being Rubber, but it should still hurt a lot.

If Luffy plays his cards right, stays back and hits from afar to wittle down her aura, he'll be able to take her down with High difficulty.

Actually even if she does get close, Luffy may beat her in hand to hand combat. (Profiles show that luffy is an expert at this unlike Yang).

East Blue Luffy is by no means a combat expert And its not in character for this version of Luffy to hang back and play smart

It'll be a tough fight, but Yang's Semblance might be able to give her the eventual power boost she'll need to overpower Luffy and win.

Luffy's practically highly resistant to PHYSICAL strikes from characters anywhere between weaker and slightly stronger than him (Yang easily falls within this even with her semblance). Explosions would still harm him, that's a given, but it doesn't necessarily matter since he has experienced such attacks from Don Krieg's spear and could tolerate them.

@Weekly - Erm, Luffy is still quite a tenacious and observant/creative fighter back in East Blue. He still tries to exploit his opponent's weaknesses or at the very least hinder them. Not saying he's a "combat expert" but Yang certainly isn't either. Luffy has used the environment to his advantage in most of his earlier fights and waited for an opening from his opponent. I don't know what you're trying to say, but it sounds to me like you're suggesting Luffy is lacking in intellect or at least caution during East Blue, when that's certainly not the case. He's even aimed to destroy his opponent's weapons if they cause him any trouble.

Luffy takes this mid-diff due to range and resistance to blunt-force trauma.

You are grossly overestimating Yang and Semblance. And that reasoning is somewhat lazy.

Anyways, Luffy for Cin's reasons.

This is the only vote

Do we even need grace?

Anyway

The one vote is REALLY lacking and it's borderline unanimous

I think waiting for grace is kinda pointless
