(RP) War for the Worlds Chapter 3

"**** off. Just keep walking for now." i quietly say to everyone, pointing the rifle at the door and trying to silently move past it

The whirring stops for a second, and you can hear yelling from the door, as well as the sounds of a scuffle. It's over quickly, however, and you hear the whirring resume again

"Keep walking. Just keep walking." i quietly whisper to everyone as i continue to try to silenty move past the door

[Is there a visible dead end at the end of the hallway, or some sort of exit that doesn't look like a "your worst nightmares are contained in this box" sign?]

[The hallway is pretty long, so it's not immediately visible]

[Okay, I'll take that as a good sign for now.]

It's only a whirring sound, so it doesn't seem like any walls or anything are being broken or sawed down.

"Let's move quickly. I don't think we want a chance to meet whatever's on the other side of these." My pace quickens, but I'm still careful to keep my steps quiet.

The hallway extends a good 90 feet in front of you. The noise in the room increases, and suddenly disappears, being replaced by a beeping noise.

The beeping noise continues, but the whirring noise doesn't come back. Rather, you hear the sound of the door being opened. A large robot steps out, more heavily armored then the grunt you saw before, holding a vial of what looks like blood. It's clearly beat up, but seems mostly functional. Its doesn't seem to notice you however, and begins to move into the next room.

I quietly press myself against the wall adjacent to the door the robot just came from, still nervously aiming the rifle at it's head, prepared to fire if neccesary

The bot still doesn't notice you, and walks up to the door. It seems to stop for a second, before the door swings wide open. You can see multiple people strapped down to a table inside.

I sneak behind the robot and try to get a better look at the trapped people
As you look into the room, you can see that there are three people trapped inside, strapped down to some sort of table

I go in and un gag one of their mouths, carefully keeping my hand out of biting distance.

"You wouldn't happen to know where we are, would you?"

They don't respond. It looks like they're out cold. They seem to be hooked up to some sort of monitor.

The monitors are filled with number and symbols you can't understand. However, you do see a screen that gives a few noticeable things.

Analysis 1 = 100%

Analysis 2 = 73%

Analysis 3 = 49%

The emanciated man seems to be about 40. The other two seem to be a boy and girl in their late teens.

Suddenly, one of the monitors flashes. The screen reads "Upload Complete"

You can hear another beeping noise, and the restraints on the man are released
