(RP) War for the Worlds Chapter 3

The man begins to get up from his restraints, but it's clear he's not in the best of shape. He starts coughing up blood, and falls to his knees.

The man tries to respond, but ends up just coughing more blood. He tries again.

"W-who are you?"

"Well, it's nice to meet your group. However, I'm not long for this world. Whatever he's done, it's likely lethal." he says to you.

"I don't know, but whoever he is, he's the one controlling all these damn bots. I don't know what he's doing, but you have to stop him."

For a second, he seems to enter a coughing fit.

"I'm not going to be around for very long. I have one last request. Free these two before he can finish doing whatever he's doing to them. He took them here, just like me, and if you don't stop it, he'll do it to many more."

The monitor fizzles out, and the restraints on the two are quickly released. They collapse, seemingly still out cold.

Suddenly, you can hear a alarm ringing in the hallway. It seems that the release of these two hasn't gone unnoticed by the machines outside.

You can see a swarm of bots outside, though none of them seem to be as threatening as the sentinel that you fought earlier

A blinding light is released from her body, and the heat can be felt to some degree in the room. A few of the closer robots begin to short circuit from the raw heat, while others have their armor begin to melt off.
