(RP) Legion Of Man - Chapter 2 (#3)

I slowly get up (while dying around a dozen times os still the worst pain i've ever expienced, this came pretty close and has numbed me to the point that i can barely feel anything), my elation stymied only slightly by the fact that SOMEONE ELSE IS COMING OH SHIT.
 
What remains of Najenda's corpse seems to be gone, but the reactor continues producing violent amounts of energy, noise and light.

Sabretooth manages to grab the key... at the cost of losing his arm, only adamantium bone remaining.

Jeffery knows what must be done. He grabs a deviced shape as a metal cube from his belt and clenches it with his hand. "We have to leave this world!"

Suddenly, something begins crawling out of the reactor. It's Najenda's remains, seemingly empowered by the fleeting energy of the key. She continues to crawl towards the group.

Snake looks at the ground... and then at the reactor. Jeffery yells at him, "WAIT! We don't have time! Everyone grab onto me, I can take us out of here!"

This warrants Snake to pause and think of his reply:

"If I don't make sure she doesn't stay dead, a lot of innocent people INCLUDING yourselves will live to regret it!

You heard her say it, someone is on their way here damnit! She's seen what you're all capable of doing... and if she shares this information, you'll have no chance of stopping them in the future!"

With that, the super soldier begins his sprint towards Najenda. He lifts her eviscerated corpse off of the ground and proceeds to charge back into the reactor with her.

Everyone grabs ahold of Jeffery, following Snake's last orders. The room begins to glow, the light produced by the reactor now reaching blinding levels.

There's a sound coming from behind the group, but nobody has time to care. Jeffery fiddles with the device in his hand as it now begins to emit a small amount of energy which is transfered between everyone who maintains contact with Jeffery.

You glance behind you to see what caused the sound, leaving you with your last image as you leave the world entirely.
 
"SNAKE PLEASE!" Before he can Sprint off I conjur the hand per mandating Okuyasu to do so, my head growing light and my senses dampening as snake is drawn towards the transportation bullshit.
 
[Snake is in the reactor which is a hundred meters away from where you are. Your attempt to draw him towards you is in vain.]
 
You begin to lose your mind.


You begin to lose your body.


You begin to lose your soul.


This pain... it hurts it hurts it hurts.


How did you get into this mess?
 
i don't care, I already experienced this before.

It's how universal travel is supposed to work.

it still hurts a lot.
 
"SNAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!" I cry out, the only thing I had to the likes of a real father. Gone.


At first I gave not a shit of him, overly serious PTSD victim whose willing to pay for not only testosterone treatments, but top removal surgery.


That changed, slowly but surely.

He scolded me when I was a dick, but nourished me when I wasn't. He was the father I could only dream of having. I don't give a shit about him paying for the hrt and the top surgery, I would gladly sacrifice ANY possibility of that in my future to keep him alive, dysphoria be damned.
 
You hear a familiar female voice:

"Everyone, stand back! Please, give them some space!"

You begin to feel once more. Your senses have returned to you. You realize that you're laying on hard concrete floor.

"Hello? Do you remember me?" Miriam gently whispers. "And who are you?" she asks in response to the newcomers.
 
"Yeah, they were some help, you can trust them, at least i think." i say, not especially sure of whats going on around me
 
"I just watched the father I wished I had die to a bitch who thought she was the voice of God. Also could you hook me up with top removal surgery and hrt? I have a servant if that's reasoning enough. Dysphoria hitting pretty bad per period and whatnot..."
 
"here, use my sweatshirt to dry it up, I still have an Iron Mech Geej shirt. Hey Miriam! Have you watched Iron Mech Geej? Also can we talk about that hrt and top removal?"
 
At least fifteen personel all pull out their own firearms on Brian, in response to his threat.

"We can trust them, you say?"
 
The nine year old interrupts whatever anger attack Jayden is about to have with a hug.

"I am sorry. I did not want anyone to get caught up in this. I can't begin to understand whatever you've been through... so I won't even try. I love you and I am sorry."
 
I bawl

I hug back.

"W-w-wanna go w-watch some I-iron mech Geej? I would watch with Oku, but he can only show up for nineteen seconds before demanifest NG"
 
I slowly stand up, still impeded by the numbness, while taking off my mask to get some freth air, the inside of which is covered in a dark red substance that smells like iron.

"God damnit. So much for that retirement fund." i whisper to myself
 
i stop throwing up.

"Ok ... so now that we have the key, what do we do next ?"

I ask to Miriam with a low voice.
 
I finally stand up "Hey can I go to my room I watched multiple people die and am exhasted." I ask Merium.
 
[This entire mission has taken 15 hours.]

"I would love to watch that with you!" Miriam exclaims, before turning to the rest of the group. "I have many questions for everyone... but it seems inappropriate for us to barrage you with them right now."

"I suppose it is alright for these newcomers to stay with us for the moment." Jeffery nods in agreement. "We will provide everyone with a new change of clothes and take you all to the penthouse for some downtime shortly."

"But first..." Miriam gestures with her hand out-stretched. "The key, if you'd please."
 
"show some respect! Whatever their pronouns are, their doing the best they can, besides our unannounced presence has introduced MANY variables and they need time to deal with that shit"
 
"So how far you in? I mean we could start with the sequel series OR we could watch the original 1974 animation, you choose subs or dubs, and don't worry bout Kotetsushin Iron Geej you can watch that without watching the first"
