Riordanverse's gods tier

So, it seems there was a discussion about this in another thread, but it never went anywhere.

Anyway, the Greek gods are rated as Star Level, for being able to create constellations, and Hera creating a supernova.

For the star creation, those aren't necessarily actual stars. The celestial objects in the myth side of things aren't always the same as in the science side of things. For example, Apollo's "sun" is a car he drives around, and Ra's is a boat. They aren't actual stars in space.

For the stars the gods create, it's probably the same thing, really. They already did that in ancient times, before humans believing in science made the stars be what they are in the real world (because of the "faith makes it real" thing). They've also done it in modern times, but as the sun example shows, even currently there are myth versions of things flying around while the science ones exist as well.

To give you an idea, the stars are described as spirits when they face Typhon in acient times, probably the spirits of the people the gods turn into constellations. Those are surely not giant balls of gas lightyears away, and, even in modern times, they're probably still those same spirits. Doesn't mean stars aren't what science tells us, just that both exist at the same time, and the gods are probably manipulating the spirits rather than the balls of gas, like they've always done. Likewise, the "sky" isn't necessarily all of space.

For Hera's supernova thing, it's probably just flowery image, comparing her rage to a gigantic explosion. She was described the exact same way when she used her true form in Lost Hero, gods' true forms are often said to be spheres of pure energy. Also, if a supernova went off near Jupiter, or on Earth, the solar system would go bye-bye, so we should definitely take that with a grain of salt regardless.

What ya'll think?
