Rewrite: "Ohohohohoho! I'm gonna put more people in until wee ol' me is satisfied!"
Rewrite chuckled in a deep tone.
Rewrite: "Oh! Did I tell you guys I had a co-host?"
Rewrite snapped and summoned a limp anthropomorphic octopus it looked... dead... Rewrite looked around before face-palming and snapping causing the Octopus to become alive once more put it's movements were off and more robotic if Anything.
Fizz(?): "IT'S TIME FOR THE FIRST MATCH! LOOT VS GAMMA!!!!"
A big Stadium screen showed icons of both combatants.
Rewrite: "You two should prepare!"
And a poof of smoke appeared causing the two hosts to teleport away.
Asuna watched as the two hosts vanished into thin air, her anger towards the unimaginably evil design of this tournament still lingering in her mind.
She wished she could just punch that hedgehogs snout in right then and there, but it was pretty much set in stone that the solution to her current situation was not nearly as simple as fighting the big bad.
She then turned towards her group, a bad feeling growing in her gut. She couldn't really describe it, but the thought of fighting and killing one of her friends here wasn't something she could ignore. But if she didn't kill them, then her home world would be destroyed. It was an exchange of friends' lives for the lives of other friends. It's not a deal she'd earn anything from at all. It was a testament to how inescapable the circumstances seemed, but orange in particular didn't really seem to get the memo, despite her tense conversation with the man himself.
With a sigh, she decided to try and let her frustrations go for a moment. Dwelling on them would impact her ability to think, especially when her time came for her to fight. Even for her, such a challenge seemed a little daunting, but it wouldn't be like her to back down at all. That'd only affect her chances badly.
Asuna: "You don't seem all that freaked out, orange. Don't you have friends back home?" She inquired.
Orange: "Nah, with the power of the
Legendary Super Citrus, we'll be A-okay!" Orange responded, seeming full of emotion. Maybe he was a bit too dumb or naive to understand the implications of the tournament, but asuna would rather keep the fruit motivated and happy, at least for now.
Asuna: "What's this legendary-super-whatever you keep talking about?" She changed the subject as the two engaged in conversation.
Orange: "You'll see when it's time for me to '
beet' my foe! Nyahahahaha!"
Whisper sighed and brought out her phone to text her
parents.
Meanwhile, frisk stood amongst the group, listening to the conversation between the girl and sentient fruit, before noticing whisper nearby on their cellphone. A thought crossed the fallen childs mind. Perhaps they could contact the monsters of the underground. But would that even be possible in another dimension? They thought for a moment, before attempting to give it a try.
* Ring... Ring...
* ...
* Nobody picked up.
Toriel didn't seem to pick up the phone. Frisk put their cellphone back in their pocket, a little frustrated. However, they held onto their hopes. They weren't alone in this.
Jesse perked up when he heard Emmet's claim and looked at Rewrite.
Jesse: "Huh?"
Emmet and jesse watched as the host duo vanished, before the lego man took a deep breath, as if to calm himself.
Emmet: "No worries... I am a
MASTER BUILDER! And with a little help, i saved the world! Getting sent to another world has nothing on me! I've got this"
Emmet tries to motivate himself, before suddenly, he began to pick apart pieces of the mall near him at high speed, building something in a
Similair fashion to this. He creates what appears to be a
house-shaped spaceship.
Emmet: "A-HA! That weird blue hedgehog won't stop me from getting my
overpriced coffee! Cmon guys, let's get out of here!" Emmet ran towards his creation, before suddenly, it began to deform, and pop out of existence, as if some sort of invisible force prevented anything from escaping, even before such an attempt was made.
Emmet: "WHAT?!?!?" He exclaimed, clearly not expecting such a thing to happen.
