The Prince of Darkness, the Godfather of Heavy Metal, has sadly passed away today, two weeks after his final performance at Birmingham at the Back to the Beginning concert.

Metal became what it is thanks to Ozzy and Black Sabbath. His legacy is immortalized each time we appreciate metal as a whole. As a long-time headbanger/metalhead, his music helped me through the harshest moments of my life.

Thank you for everything, John Michael Osbourne. May you rest in peace.
