Reincarnation Wars Meta and Registration Thread 2

@Psycho his hdm honestly doesn't even seem like hdm to me (iirc R'lyeh basically just has non-Euclidean planes as its base, which should just be spatial manipulation), but I'd say the first issue I see is that every one of your allies, or any regular people, go insane the moment they see you. And his "some degree" of reality warping is at the very least creation on a city wide scale of objects that can't exist naturally within the universe, so it's nothing small.

Yeah, hmm... well couldn't I have something like what christian has with godzilla where I turn into Cthulhu? as the reason people go insane is that his apperence is incomprihensible to humans but Jacksons isnt, also then that would account for his type 3 Large Size.

I see what your saying about the reality warp but I would like to point out that for Reality warping thats pretty small.

@Blah, problem is, Griffin wants to lear. He doesn't just want to have the knowledge handed to him. Getting a soul that already has that knowledge and just inheriting its memories would annoy him.

You aren't actually getting new souls now/soon, we were just discussing what sort of souls Monarch would go for in the future

Im surprised you don't a Super Genius Prep specialist like Doofenshmirtz(P&F) or Rick(R&M)

Even when shapeshifting into other forms, looking at Cthulhu still drives people insane. And the reason I've given people transformation for giants is cause they're still humans in body so for large size to work it's a requirement (plus it's just easier if everyone's small enough to fit in a room), but characters are supposed to come with all their abilities and the benefits/detriments that come with them, unless that ability can be easily restricted like time travel. I don't want to just restrict a character's most characteristic hax.

FANDOM has Void Manip now.

Jesus, how is it so easy to torment my own characters? The Stranger went from a cartoon that's secretly a beast in combat to a weakened crippled creature that has constant identity crisises.

Screw that

I don't want bullshit prep where the character has a pickle and some rat limbs and makes a mech suit.

On an unrelated note, I have a technically High 3-A spell

@Monarch how about Fumi Kanno, you could learn a lot by looking into stuff like the Nicaea app, summoning system, JPs devices she has/has memory of, JPs mystic stuff that she should know of, and by researching the demons she can summon.

ill summarize muh briah. "I want all evil to vanish before my sight." Basically line of sight = all negative actions/thoughts disappear. While in line of sight you can't think about what made you forget/stop the negative actions/thoughts.

That would help out a lot.

Ok ok just mentioning that you are a scintist and thats normally how they are strong through prep buts its not a requirment .

Also fu*k, (raises hands to the sky) damn that insanity giving ugly ass mudafu*ka Cthuhlu (Im still ok with giving you all insanity 'looks away and whitsltes')

I mean

I am hella strong through prep

Because I can create spells that control the fundamental laws of the physical world

Okay, guessing time for everyone Briah:

@Monarch "I want to understand the law of the world" would also implied that you want the law of the world to be understandable in the first place. So your briah could either raise your intelligent to the point where you understand it, or remold the world so that it's something you understand.

@Reinhard You're basically 2 part: "I want people to not drag me into thing" and "I want people to not do anything stupid". So your briah would be an ability to detach from trouble, and disappear in sight when it happen, and the other one would be the ability to prevent people from holding an idiot ball, and always held information that would prevent them from acting stupid.

@DragonEmperor: Your Briah is actually similar to mine, though it's limited by sight. You could compensate for it by having what you thought would be "Evil" to disappear instead of any objective "Evil".

I'll switch to "No evil shall exist while I do." This is the same without line of sight but it's too broken I'll switch it back.
you don't have the souls to use a birah, so it deosn't matter if it's the most broken thing in all of fiction also you aren't enought crazy to have a briah

Oh and she kinda is crazy

She wants to hug everybody. Literally everybody. And she wants it so much she warps reality. That's kinda crazy.

True that, but that's more Shirou crazy than Masadaverse's brand of it...Like, I just skimmped it through, and I feel like with all the noticable one, almost all of them is crazy.

Overlord's right though.

You need to have a seriously distorted mindset to have a Briah. Ren in the first route couldn't manifest his because he liked the normal world.

...Now that you think about it, it take a special kind of people to accept graphing a magic circuits that would eat the soul of people and used it as fuel in the first place.

Continue on with the Briah: For Stranger, he probably have a wish of "Wanting to have a life again." , so he would get what basically be a resurrection and metamorphosis ability, similar to mecurius In Dies irae. When he die, he either revived on the spot with his flaw scrubbed out, a he add more strength and virtue, or he goes back in time as a different person, living different life but always goes back to the same place and "Try again".

That kinda sounds like doomsday "revived on the spot with his flaw scrubbed out, a he add more strength and virtue"

So I know there was a thread about this but I didnt want to rwad through it so ill ask it here "What does type 4 immortality do?" (I also know monarch isnt the biggest fan of type 4)

and for Chrstian's briah "Leave me alone, or else you're dead" it could be a very strong attack reflection type thing, think Cain(DC)

True that. Either a strong attack reflection, or it could be him getting annoyed in a "I swear, i'm gonna tear you into bits, bury those bits in seperate graves, and light them on fire all at once" type of way.

Type 4 is worthless.

It doesn't need to exist, it's just saying the immortality comes from (being) a god.

Unlike the other immortality types which all have their own functions that make them different from each other, Type 4 doesn't even have a function. It's just a way of saying what the origin of the immortality is.

It does have a worth if a certain setting gives it a worth (for instance Percy Jackson has characters that are immortal unless the killing blow is delivered by a god and demigod together, Yuki Yuuna has characters who can't be killed unless you're stronger than the divine things protecting them, and I know of some verses where gods will revive unless something divine kills them), but that has to be left to the verse/character page to explain.

So what would you say the best immortalities are?

Im guessing type 8 from a tier 1, type 5, type 3 w/h Mid-God regen or higher, type 10, and type 9.

type 8 from a tier 1 while not being 1-A is the best immortality, it makes most abilities useless and there only a few way to bypass it and the only ways that i can think of are sealing and being the Emperor of Mankind

bypassing type 5 is easy, a lot of hax can pull down someone with it

you can bypass type 3 with mid-godly by erasing harder, power null or by time paradoxing

type 10 is useless as every 1-A character can bypass it and only 1-A character can have it

type 9 bypassed by range

Oh, and I'm changing my wishlist again

I want Darquesse instead of Marin

And in case anyone sees it and goes "holy crap why so many powers", I just want to point out I can already do (or at least create a spell to do) 90% of what she can do. I just want her special sight (which gives ESP and Information Analysis) and accelerated development.
