Scenario A: Person A wants to show Person B an event from their past, so they open a time window. However, Person A is not present within that past scene, meaning they have to physically jump into the time window and insert themselves into the event. After they leave, there is still no visible past version of Person A. This happens multiple times, and every time Person A has to actively reinsert themselves because no preexisting past counterpart exists there.
Scenario B: A past version of Person C travels through time because they wanted to meet their present self. However, the present version of Person C is surprised by this and has no memory or recollection of it ever happening, despite the traveler supposedly being their own past self.
Would Scenario "A" qualify as Type 2 since only one version of Person A is ever shown to exist, and they do not naturally exist within the past until they actively enter it themselves? And would Scenario "B" qualify as Type 3 because the past self can travel to the future or present independently, without the present self having any memory or awareness of the event ever occurring?
