You seriously need to drop this point about Aldebaran. His fight against Reinhard required 130,000 loops which lasted no more than 2 minutes each. That would be around 6 months of time in total. Obviously 6 months didn't pass for those in Mirula, or Lugunica Capital, or Banan, or Lupugana. Because they were looped as well. Because Domain loops the entire world.

Hm this is also true.

Or maybe just maybe as I was saying beforehand, the loops are perceived as the final result while time is being looped in a specific region, and that discrepancy between looped time and real time allows it to be experienced as the final loop meaning that amount of time only passed for Al

Only one timeline technically “survives” within Al’s domain, which is linked to the real world when the domain ends, that doesn’t mean that he can control time for the main world as well it just means that looped timelines have no effect on elapsed time

This is also a plausbile theory

If I am understanding correctly, Regulus is technically "unbound" to Causality (or more accurately stated, that is the argument being put forth) by him superseding all Laws and Concepts in the verse, and that the verse mentions "Cause and Effect" as an existing law that individuals operate under, and even affect with their abilities; furthermore, it seems like this ability to supersede Laws and Concepts is derived from his ability to affect Time?

If so, I would say that is conflicting evidence for the claim being made. If he is still operating under a system of Time: "Time", as a law, is ontologically binding to him normally. But he merely "pauses" his participation within it, which disallows the "effect" end of Causality to affect him as he doesn't experience Time in a similar way to other individuals, who are beholden to it. This sounds like Time Manipulation (and possibly Causality Manipulation; it depends on if there is enough specific evidence supporting it or not) to a high degree. If he was totally disconnected from it by his nature, or through an ability that doesn't merely just "pause" his experience of Time, it could potentially be Acausality Type 5. But that doesn't seem to be the case. So, I disagree.

It could be Acausality Type 4; however, as he still needs to operate under a form of Causality: a beginning act that leads to and corresponds with an end, if he is to commit any act in the world. And he is arguably disconnected in a way that would necessitate a separate form of Causality, that only he participates in. Ultimately, I am neutral to this; I will wait and see what future arguments are made before committing to a final conclusion.

I’m gonna read all of that tomorrow but, what account of causality must someone be unbound by to be acausal on VSBW, because you can be acausal on some accounts and not others

So you do think Domain affects the whole world, just in a more baseless and headcanon-y way. The simpler answer is that the entire world gets looped by his Authority, and once more, it's wiki policy that time manipulation is universal in range unless proven otherwise. Regulus still needs a feat to have type 1/2 acausality too, which he does not have.

This thread has reached 4 pages already, mainly due to numerous redundant messages (the same user posting multiple messages in a row, two users posting more-or-less the same thing, and posting extremely short messages that aren't long enough to be a full argument or rebuttal). This unfortunately makes staff less likely to participate as it means they have to sift for proper arguments throughout the thread. I'd suggest waiting for staff to comment.

Also, the previous threads should be linked in the OP. They're relevant to the topic.
Regulus once had Acausality Type 4 (added by this CRT), and later it was removed (by this CRT). A third CRT then attempted to restore it, but was rejected.

I mean having Acausuality lowkey doesnt change anything of how Regulus works in matchups nor makes him stronger so i Lowkey dont care about It, just wanted to point it out, also other wikis have Regulus with Acausuality so idk, its not like it matters since, well, it wont do much to Regulus in matchups so, eh, its okay if he doesnt have it or if he does have it ig

No offense but this is superrr confused on ontology and casuality

No offense but your a part of the problem; you've ignored hefty amounts of evidence and the likes, havent provided a negation to new scans and the likes, and you've only increase message count and have yet to actually provide an argument that doesn't beg the question. If you don't want arbitrary messages, leave the thread; your the main issue.

Yeah gonna have to disagree with this CRT

Zabazab explanation is more simpler and easier to understand and requires less mental gymnastics to justify it. Any what-if argument would need to thoroughly exhaust any other potential claim in a sufficient manner to qualify

Have you read re:zero at all? Hercules's argument is far more supported by the text and has scans behind it, while Zab's does not.

I am pretty sure I did. I am all in favor of Re:Zero having more hax abilities but this seems more like a stretch if anything.

Also calling into questions about the knowledge of members here just isn't it fam. Whether someone makes more or less arguments isn't correlated with them being correct or not as long as the arguments themselves are justifiable

For now you can count me as disagreeing with this proposal

Here this will be easier.

Every single argument made by zabazab has begged the question. They all presuppose that what they try to prove is already the case.

When him and Tayman were shown evidence, they tried to counter with a separate interpretation; more evidence was shown for our interpretation, and they responded solely by proclaiming that their argument could be the case and that explains the scan in such an ad hoc manner. But, there's obviously an issue there; being that we have more and have shown more emperical evidence along with having more supporting proof behind our interpretation, that the opposition has yet to sufficiently negate.

Simply, their arguments rely on interpretations made solely to prove the narrative that they made, most of their arguments rely on this dialect:

“this supports my claim”

“how?”

“because my claim is the case”

“why?”

“because the evidence supports my claim”
Obviously this isn't exact quotes, but it's practically the underlying reasoning that Zabazab and Tayman are making. Please take in account that zero scans have been shown for their side of the argument, while over twelve scans have been shown for ours, and only one of those scans have been challenged.

I mean.. you guys are making the claim here first regarding how Regulus is operating under another casuality system. It should be your task to prove otherwise.

Also the bit about Al's Domain needs to exhaust other possible interpretations to assert itself as correct. The Positive Claim would require as such.

Not really a fan of whataboutisms but lets take a simple look at an example of this such as the profile for Manga Zamasu.

1. The Wiki accepts Hakai as being able to erase someone from History as of now so this is True. This is simply how one ability currently functions.

2. Beerus claims that Immortals such as Zamasu are somethings he cannot actually kill and he should be knowledgable regarding his own ability so this should be True as well. This happens only briefly after point no.3.

3. Zamasu himself was effected by Goku's Hakai meaning he does not have resistance to it but rather its stemming from his immortality which allows him to regenerate from being partially deleted by Hakai. This would mean Zamasu is capable of restoring himself from History level Erasure.

This interpretation is perfectly valid as its exhausting the other interpretations (Beerus is lying or the ability is retconned) as such using simple information that requires less work

No shade but why are we using Occam's Razor for non equal possiblites. More evidence supports the interpretation provided by Minself and Hercules. Occam's Razor simply fails here as they are not the same likelyhood, and Zabazab's argument rely on assumptions that contradict the text shown.

The issue is we have proven otherwise, they're insisting what they said is infact the case; even though it has been contradicted and proven wrong, and they refuse to provide any proof of their claims.

Simply, if you want to go to a battle of razors, Hitchens kills everything they said due to lack of evidence, Occam's favors ours due to less assumptions, more evidence, etc.

Icl claiming a simpler answer when more evidence is pointing towards the contrary isn't a valid application of Occam's razor on a reread of this. We can just go as follows:

P1. If an answer is simpler than it's contenders, we ought to appeal to it
P2. The moon being cheese is simpler than the contending answers
C1. Therefore, we ought to appeal to the moon being cheese.

Obviously, this reductio points out a large issue with appealing to strictly simpler answers. It could very well be simpler that the moon is cheese rather than a large mold of many different types of material, but that doesn't automatically give it an acceptability condition or declare it's truth value. Icl claiming we should appeal to x because it's simpler just fails.

Before you argue that your point is true or the likes, if you plan to say that, provide evidence. As evidence on the contrary has already been shown and hitchens razor will simply kill any argument you make without evidence.

Screw it while I'm at it let me chain my reductio's since logic has gotten involved~!

P1. If Aldeberan's authority affects the entire world, then (1) the entire world has to reverse, (2) all direct textual evidence proclaiming otherwise must be re-explained, and (3) as a consequence of claiming the entire world has reversed, evidence of such must be provided to prove such.
P2. Aldeberan's authority affects the entire world.
C1. Thus, the entire world has to reverse, all direct textual evidence proclaiming the otherwise must be re-explained, and evidence of the entire world resetting has to be provided.

But, there's another set of issues, being that none of the three parts of the latter / conclusion proposition are the case.

For one, the entire timeline has to reverse, which is fine by itself, but when combined with the other two; it becomes an issue.

This is because of the fact that (1) the contrary evidence has not re-explained, and (2) evidence of the entire world resetting hasn't been provided.

But, let's land another Reductio just to rub salt into the wound!

P1. If there exists a statement in a fictional story, there exists a reason for that statement existing.
P2. There exists statements of Aldeberan needing a new space-time to loop
C1. Hence, there exists a reason for these statements to exist.

But, there's an issue! If the arguments proclaiming he resets the entire world are the case, then why do the statements proving otherwise exist?

If for narrative, suspense, or anything upon those lines— prove it~!

The main issue that you are dismissing is not Zabazab interpretation

Its their interpretation which is favored by Wiki standards regarding how Time Manipulation works in a universal sense as default

Or maybe just maybe as I was saying beforehand, the loops are perceived as the final result while time is being looped in a specific region, and that discrepancy between looped time and real time allows it to be experienced as the final loop meaning that amount of time only passed for Al
The argument Hercule presented to counter this is making too many assumptions to properly work in this scenario.

I don't believe discussions on this topic will yield any useful conclusion so I recommend waiting for staff members to anaylze this thread unless hercule wishes to make a rebuttal to this later

The issue is that Hercules had provided evidence earlier and it wasn't addressed. Please, do not attack one competent of an argument without attacking the whole thing; actually that's wrong, that's what I do. In this specific case it's unwise is better.

But let's just ask a few questions;

1. What assumptions?
2. Why don't they properly work?
3. How does Zabazab's arguments address the triple reductio's I provided?
4. Why do assumptions alone invalidate a point?
5. The wiki standards proclaim it's the norm to assume universals unless shown otherwise, how do you respond to the evidence of otherwise shown by Hercules?

祝你好运!:>

all direct textual evidence proclaiming otherwise must be re-explained,
There is no textual evidence supporting the idea that only the time of a specific space is reversed, is the thing. It's nonsensical headcanon and largely irrelevent to the thread at hand. Regardless of whether or not Domain results in an anti-feat for acausality for Regulus (it does), Regulus doesn't actually have a feat of type 1/2 acaus in the first place. The type 4 arguments meanwhile were discussed and put to bed in two previous threads, which this thread has neither acknowledged nor made a debunk against.

Zab, I love ya’ and your my friend, but think about what you just said.

For one, let's just cite some evidence cited in this forum:

Aldebaran creates the “Territory” by his own will, and only within its predetermined time and space is he permitted unlimited attempts.”

“"Screw it! Expand...domain!!"

The moment he screamed, the space around Al rippled, as if it were being cut out of thin air... then it warped.

It was like some supernatural entity had altered the dark, putrid space, changing the bal- ance and shape of things until it was like looking at the world through the lens of bubbles that rose to the surface of a lake or ocean.

And then...

And then...and then...”
Edit: I accidentally sent this early so I'm gonna write my second part in another response

Second response since I sent my first early on accident.

But anyways, now that evidence is shown, let me just ask you. If the Authority is reversing the entire world, then why does the text specifically define a predetermined time and space (matrix) as the condition for the loop?

Secondly, did you forget the original arguments for type 1 and 2? It wasn't one of certainty, it was just one said it's possible and kinda likely, due to the consequences of his authority and a few inductions we can make from things like the Pride IF.

Thirdly, I told you a hundred messages ago but the arguments have distinctions, the critiques to the your old CRT don't really apply here. If you think one does, cite it; I assure you, It doesn't.

I mean Acausuality type 4 is kinda uh, well there are a lot of bums that have type 4 Acausuality without showing anything that suggest it just by some one-off statements, like Goku in god form, im not familiar with the DB cosmology but why does goku have type 4 Acausuality? Im genuinely curious

Not a clue, pretty sure zabazab is just mad his original CRT got denied icl. Perhaps I'm overextending though.

I really do not like whataboutisms however Beerus is effecting the timestream and how events change despite the cosmology of dragonball not allowing for any form of change if an action is performed in the past (a new timeline is created instead where the changes apply while this is not the case if Beerus changed certain events in the past such as killing zamasu. This is more so effecting the main timeline instead of the alternate reproduced one)

Also you should probably look at Alice's page from Isekai at Peace if you want a Good example of a character being blatantly unbound by Casuality or Fate or CM Type 1 Manipulation

Please just read what you sent.

First one just claims Al must die within the predetermined location.

The second one is just him casting the domain, not a loop or range statement or anything
Tayman, I (don't really) love ya’, but think before you say something like this.

For one, if he has the ability to control reverse and control all of time, then why does a new space-time need to be created specifically for resets?

Secondly, my second scan states:
“...space around Al rippled, as if it were being cut out of thin air... then it warped.

It was like some supernatural entity had altered the dark, putrid space, changing the bal- ance and shape of things until it was like looking at the world through the lens of bubbles that rose to the surface of a lake or ocean.”
Wowwowow! It's almost like it's, hear me out; verbatim stating a space around Al is formed. Once again, why would he need this arbitrary respawn point if he can reset the entire world?

Infact, let's do this. Why does Subaru not need a domain or specific space time to reset? It could very well be the case that he resets the world, or that he destroys it and creates a new one, if the former is the case; why doesn't he need a domain, if the latter is the case, why is Al's domain just doing something similar~?

祝你好运!:>

Fyi: this doesn't respond to the 3 reductio's or the 5 burdens put on the opposition!

So... what about Aldebaran and Reinhard's battle lasting 130,000 loops which would also effect the world.

The Issue is that there isn't much stated on how Aldebaran looping mechanism works in detail because we are just selecting random interpretations which is what I mentioned earlier. Anyways this is becoming more and more circular on the circumstances surrounding aldebaran's ability unless Tappei clarifies it in detail in a later Arc.

For one, if he has the ability to control reverse and control all of time, then why does a new space-time need to be created specifically for resets?
He's not creating another time, predetermined space-time just refers to the location of his domain.

You're just misreading because of seeing "time and space" in it. Read the entire text.
Secondly, my second scan states:
Wowwowow! It's almost like it's, hear me out; verbatim stating a space around Al is formed. Once again, why would he need this arbitrary respawn point if he can reset the entire world?
Wow Wow Wow, it almost looks like he casts something like a domain, aka a predetermined location where he can die.

Almost as if it's what i originally said there
The second one is just him casting the domain, not a loop or range statement or anything
It's not a moment of loop, him casting the domain doesn't do anything to the entire world because the domain itself is just determined limited location where he can die.
As Al had shouted earlier, there was no room for him to intervene. Regardless, whenever Al suffered fatal damage, he would restart from a predefined point, so the world would not progress.
Litertally shows it.
With the power of Aldebaran’s Domain, the events that transpired in the repeating world would endlessly be made to have never happened until that Matrix was finally marked with a full-stop.
Again.
――There was a limit to the definable Matrix of the Domain. If he were to get too far away from the current position at which the Matrix had been defined, the Domain would come undone, and Aldebaran would end up losing the few advantages he possessed against Reinhard.
His domain is the predetermined location of where he's fine to die. It's not "The domain is the range he changes" or anything. There isn't even a single statement that shows it to be like that.

And for the record, that's what we literally accept in the wiki, and his profile. If you have a problem with this, go and make a CRT about it because we don't ignore other CRT's and decisions like this. (Or there'd be no point of them lol)
Infact, let's do this. Why does Subaru not need a domain or specific space time to reset? Or Or Or, their authorities are NOT the same?

Subaru can die anywhere in the world, Al needs to die inside his domain. But Al determines the save point and he chooses the location.

Arguing based on the difference of their abilities is just irrelevant.

It's only circular due to one party providing evidence and the other refusing to, it's a battle of “the text says” versus “i say” icl, furthermore, in either hypothesis, the reinhard and Al battle means nothing, me, Hercules, and Zabazab have all explained it's irrelevancd in our own interpretations.

Also, reminder two that this doesn't respond to the three reductio's or the five burdens.

Almost as if it's what i originally said there

It's not a moment of loop, him casting the domain doesn't do anything to the entire world because the domain itself is just determined limited location where he can die.

Litertally shows it.

Again.

Or Or Or, their authorities are NOT the same?

Subaru can die anywhere in the world, Al needs to die inside his domain. But Al determines the save point and he chooses the location.

Arguing based on the difference of their abilities is just irrelevant.
Wowowowowowowowow! Let's just do this!

1. Prove this.
He's not creating another time, predetermined space-time just refers to the location of his domain.
2. Prove this.

3. Prove this, also it's rather irrelevant to argue that x page says this while we're in the middle of discussing the said ability and adding new interpretations... Textbook appeal to authority and appeal to the past.

4. The whole point is that they aren't the same, the question is why. Why? Why aren't they the same? If mechanism x works in y manner, and mechanism z works in w manner, what changes between y and w?
Or Or Or, their authorities are NOT the same?

Subaru can die anywhere in the world, Al needs to die inside his domain. But Al determines the save point and he chooses the location.

Arguing based on the difference of their abilities is just irrelevant.

Also, reminder number 3 that none of the 3 reductio's or 5 burdens have been fulfilled or countered.

Please just read what you sent.

First one just claims Al must die within the predetermined location.

That’s just NOT what the statement says, but let me just ask, for what exact reason does Al need to die within the range of the domain specifically rather than everywhere else, what’s the meaningful difference without making an Ad Hoc argument

The second one is just him casting the domain, not a loop or range statement or anything

Yes, he’s specifically sectioning off space so that he can control it, which is why it says that Al can only loop within a set area which explains why he needs to be within that specific area because he has no control over time universally

All of the other responses Zab made are just gibberish and can be explained by the fact that other people and the world in general only perceive the end result of the loop since time is being distorted in a specific area, that doesn’t mean time is being distorted universally, it just means that time becomes warped when affected by an authority, which is relevant because unless Regulus is caught within the domain (under our interpretation) him not making note of a loop doesn’t disprove anything in terms of causality

He's not creating another time, predetermined space-time just refers to the location of his domain.

You're just misreading because of seeing "time and space" in it. Read the entire text.

For reference, here is the text:
Normally, by creating a Territory of his own volition, Aldebaran would be permitted an unlimited number of attempts only within that defined space and time. During that interval, it was a given that Aldebaran would maintain his own continuity of memories, carrying out different approaches with each attempt as he searched for a breakthrough.

However, whenever some discrepancy in the starting parameters caused this bug to occur, the right to redo events within the Territory would transfer to another person within the Matrix, and until the Territory was lifted, they would be stuck repeating in an unending Matrix in perpetuity.

Firstly, what exactly does it MEAN to have a defined time and space WITHIN the matrix if not that Al is sectioning off space and is capable of manipulating time within that said space, which is just like what regular domain expansions do, you are again, providing an arbitrary distinction between Al inside and outside the domain without any basis or evidence, why can he only revive in the domain? “Uhh idk” meaning your interpretation accounts for less data

Wow Wow Wow, it almost looks like he casts something like a domain, aka a predetermined location where he can die.

Almost as if it's what i originally said there

That’s the claim in question, you and Zab have this issue where, when arguing about claims you have, rather than providing new arguments/reasons to support the claim, you just INSIST on a specific claim, circling back to the text which you think supports your claim when the text supporting your claim is ALREADY in question

It's not a moment of loop, him casting the domain doesn't do anything to the entire world because the domain itself is just determined limited location where he can die.

Litertally shows it.

Again.

His domain is the predetermined location of where he's fine to die. It's not "The domain is the range he changes" or anything. There isn't even a single statement that shows it to be like that.

He’s fine to die within the domain rather than outside of it because:

A - He just can’t control time outside his domain
B - Al is just an idiot who likes giving himself weaknesses for no reason

And for the record, that's what we literally accept in the wiki, and his profile. If you have a problem with this, go and make a CRT about it because we don't ignore other CRT's and decisions like this. (Or there'd be no point of them lol)

All of these other responses don’t actually fulfil the burden I want you to fulfil so there’s not much else to say. I’m just going to ask you again:

1. What does it mean to create a defined space and time

2. Why does Al specifically create a defined space and time which is sectioned off from the world

3. Why can Al only die within this range, rather than anywhere else. If the explanation is: That’s just how his authority works, your argument fails on parsimony

But anyways, now that evidence is shown, let me just ask you. If the Authority is reversing the entire world, then why does the text specifically define a predetermined time and space (matrix) as the condition for the loop?
Because the condition for Victim of the Domain is that Al must remain within a metaphorical Domain around a set around a predefined set of coordinates chosen by Al, within which his death triggers the world to reset back to that predefined point in time.

Secondly, did you forget the original arguments for type 1 and 2? It wasn't one of certainty, it was just one said it's possible and kinda likely, due to the consequences of his authority and a few inductions we can make from things like the Pride IF.
It's "well someone stopped in time logically should-" which is not enough evidence for an ability. It would need a definite feat or statement.

Let's just do this!
This is a really terrible response. You didn't actually address any of the arguments and scans Tayman presented which clearly favour that Domain loops the world, just as long as Al is within the defined matrix. You sound like you care more about the idea of debating than you do about accurately indexing Re:Zero. Arguing like a debatebro instead of actually addressing points are unlikely to convince staff that your claims are legitimate.

I think you should actually consider the massive amount of evidence that Domain affects the world, and re-evaluate your position on this matter that doesn't even mean much to your CRT's topic.
