Rainbow Dash vs Undyne

Except, does Rainbow Dash always Sonic Rainboom in a fight, since that's where her ridiculous range comes from. I don't really watch My Little Pony, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I would think Rainbow Dash would more likely wanna get up and physical with Undyne rather than blasting her away with a giant rainbow for no reason. Where's the satisfaction in that?

She isn't bloodlusted, though. SBA is in effect, so she's in-character, but willing to kill. And from what little I've seen of her, she's a very competitive pony and wouldn't be satisfied with just blasting Undyne away without having a good spar first.

Yes, I won't argue with you on that. Her main goal is to kill Undyne. However, she's a thrillseeker, and wouldn't be satisfied in the least at just blasting her away with a Sonic Rainboom. Where would be the fun in that? I would imagine that she would wanna scope Undyne out and try to spar with her hoof to spear first before unleashing the Rainboom.

M'kay, I figured that as well. I was just trying to explain that I'm pretty sure Rainbow Dash wouldn't just immediately go for the Sonic Rainboom. Though, pretty much anything she does would probably finish the fish.
Have to say Rainbow Dash. Faster, stronger and tougher than Frisk was and has taken on hoards of changlings. Undyne has her training as a royal guard but Rainbow Dash has training as a Wonderbolt, so would consider them too widly apart in combat training. Plus Rainbow Dash has the tactical advantage of fight, so her can choose when and where to strike from. Sonic Rainboom is just icing on the cake.

Speed Equal makes being faster than frisk a non-factor, and I don't think rainbowdash can take hits to the soul, so both one-shot.
Too bad undyne wouldn't go all out, Rainbow Dash through one-shotting.
