Canon on the contrary, ignoring the fact he just kind of skillfucks, and one shots with a non-bootleg HF Blade, has his own share of bullshit items, a lot of which kinda ***** AS for free, such as a chaff grenade.

Depends how it works, but like, that shit ain't permanent anyway, and he'd have to use it before hand.
Which I doubt he would given a mere chaff into a HF slash gets canon the win, and canon knows Chaffs **** with cybrogs, which AS canon obviously is, he really don't gotta work for it.

Don't see why this would matter much since this fight would end quick (literally who gets the best opportunity for the first strike)
PS can also leave canon vulnerable with paralysis inducement (hedgehog grenade and sonic rift)

Why? PS Canon's HF blade doesn't have all the funny meme duraneg bullshit if that's what you think.
Dodge it? Counter with his own shit? Stun Grenade, PS is dazed. Chaff Grenade? Bro is just done for. Range? Canon has things like Nikita's, or homing missiles with hundreds of meters of range via Stinger.
PS has like two ok haxes, one of which Canon Raiden has some resistance for anyway (parahax), all of which has to actually hit, meanwhile canon just drops a chaff and suddenly everything within like a 120m shuts down, including PS canon, and then he gets bisected.
Like the range on this shit ain't no joke, they can even fill REX's hangar, which is 60mx30m when tossed at the very edge.

If that's the case then PS has no real way around this. His only really counter is his super move which literally traps enemies in a box (no real movement need to perform the action, if they're in his range it's no use) and even then he'd need to charge that shit

He can keep it on him as long as he wants but it's only a one time use. The opponents can get out in 4 seconds or so. The opponent is as durable as stone which is how both it's description and gameplay present it. Switching to canon cause chaff is busted

A.) Lag from an online match that looked awkward enough to be confused for teleporting
B.) The game over-compensating for an auto-target mechanic that looked awkward enough to be confused for teleporting.
The game has actual teleportation in it. Sly Cooper, Spike, Zeus, and Sackboy can all teleport. Depending on how you interpret the Level 3 supers, more characters can teleport with them, but Raiden isn't one of them.
