Questions about existence Erasure

What exactly are the qualifications for this ability?

"The user of this ability is capable of turning targets to nothing. This can range from only turning the matter of the target to nothing to also turning things like its energy, mind, soul, space, time, concept or even more fundamental aspects of its existence to nothing."

Just reading the description it sounds kind of contradictory. Its the ability to erase somehting completely but at the same time admits its not as cetyain aspects might remain. Maybe their should be diffent pages for different aspects so two characters don't have the same ability that works in different ways. . . :S

"Note that one shouldn't list a character to have resistance/immunity against this ability in total, as that requires a character to have shown resistance against every imaginable ability which can erase a target. Instead it should be specifically noted which technique was resisted."

This is kind of the immoveable force/object paradox. If a character can resist EE then by definition its not actually an omnipotent power and EE does not truly exist.

"Limitations . . "

Again by definition there should be zero. Simple as that. Godly regen doesn't work because they should be gone.

Lastly I consider the source of being nothignness in itself. If a character says you will be reduced to nothing from said attk is that really proof of existance erasure? Lots of characters brag and there is such a thing as hyperbole. Even if something is "erased" do we know there is nothing left? FOr example, what if its just too small to see? There are also characters that exist as abstract enitities such as the nothing in Supernatural. So when characters are returned from there doesn't that mean there was something left?

Just some thoughts to ponder over because this seems like a very ill defined unprovable ability which raises a lot of questions.

That's not how it works. Some resistances can be weak while other characters can have strong resistances. Also, some EE can be better than others. Like EE on a 4-D scale is better than 3-D EE. If a character has resistance to 3-D EE, it doesn't mean he can resist 4-D EE.

Welcome to fiction. Peeps can come back even after they are erased, doesn't mean they were not erased. Just like how peeps can resurrect, doesn't mean they were not killed.
