SDBH places after Tournament of Power, exactly after it, but things like Merus and Moro didnt even existed on that time, it only appeared WAY later

It shows where he used the ability to begin with. Just because he didn't do it on him in Heroes doesn't mean he doesn't have the ability. It's not like he learned the ability in between the Universe Survival and Galactic Patrol arcs.

The point is, the ability never was shown, and Merus doesnt even exist in SDBH, we have no evidence that SDBH Grand Priest has it
