yes but in this case even if they could Tatsumaki could dodge easily in case the 300 gravity didn't completely immobilize Goku pre raditz saga which is not possible since post Saiyan saga/Pre Namecc saga Goku could barely move at 50 gravity if I'm not mistaken until after a while time to train and then if Goku manages to launch an energetic ray at him, I repeat, logically he can dodge it by seeing where the attack comes from and Tatsumaki is a little faster than that Goku
Why wouldn't it make sense when it's a casual feat done by Tatsumaki early on in the series compared to the S class strongest attacks done many chapters later?
I find it much more believable that the S class are at these levels than them being in the mountain lvl ranges and post-darkshine garou growing from mountain lvl to almost moon lvl in microseconds.sure but it isn't really mindlessly. Lore wise the S class have shown to be pretty strong in comparison to what are rated

So unless you believe that garou went from large mountain level here to multi continental here which took place in microseconds, then it would make sense that platinum s would scale to high 6-C. Im saying this because most of the s class would scale as well if PS is high 6c
