Professional Wrestling General Discussion Thread

Tbf, LA Knight isn't very original.

It's just that the person playing LA Knight is so good at his job that he was able to get over in less than a year. THAT'S what matters.

Now some of the replies are tripping saying that Knight is more over than Nash ever was, as if the NWO isn't the most well-known faction arguably in Pro Wrestling history.

Kevin Nash owned everyone on the internet, He's a legend and he has mic charisma idk what y'all are saying.

All people are talking about is Grayson Waller and Rhea Ripley. I would love to see Bronson Reed is a bigger role imagine him doing a moonsault or Tsunami in front of his home crowd, People would explode💯

The rise and fall of Dolph Ziggler has to be studied.

I thought Ali was about to do some big things down in NXT, even though I wasn't a fan of him.

Elias had so much ******* potential man. WWE fumbled that bag hard.

I will always enjoy Benjamin, even though I think he wasn't going to be a World Champion.

I wish everyone else the best in their future endeavors.

Hyped for Smackdown tonight after what happened last week.

Particularly excited to see what they're going to do with LA Knight, Austin Theory, and Grayson Waller. These three are some of my favorite to watch right now.

If they keep doing this, people might stray away from the WWE because there's 0 job security. It was always in my mind but Riddle going really solidifies this idea for me.

This was expected kinda, All the Sexual allegations behind him, Recent Air port incident, Porno being leaked all this made it difficult for WWE they are a Pg rated company and for their PR it was too much.
Also this is the second time Riddle is fired by UFC first during in initial UFC run pre WWE run and now after Merger with Endeavor.

Riddle is actually pretty problematic for the company. It was only a matter of time before he got fired, as talented as he is.

Riddle fumbled the bag so hard. WWE clearly liked him, and I think he could've been a great mid-card champion.

Oh yeah. Smackdown was pretty alright.

Surprisingly no LA Knight, but what we got was decent.

I'm actually interested in The Bloodline/Cena storyline after what happened, and Theory and Waller (A-Town Down Under) are great together.

WWE apparently earned 153 million views across all of their social media platforms in their segment with The Rock, Pat McAfee, and Austin Theory.

Don't know if this is legit or not, but if it is, this is great for the company, as this not only puts more eyes on the company, but it also puts more eyes on people like Austin Theory, who is very likely going to be the future face of the company.

This also helps Grayson Waller, as when people go out of their way to watch Theory, they'll also be curious about his newly formed tag team with Waller, which puts eyes on both of them.

This is how you put over young talent.

This is so sad to see.

For those who don't know, Jon Moxley, aka Dean Ambrose, was concussed early on in a match against Ray Fenix after taking a dive on the floor. Instead of ending the match as quickly as possible, Fenix and Knox (the referee) decided to let the match go on.

Fenix then gave a concussed, loopy, and dazed Moxley TWO CONSECUTIVE SIT-OUT PILEDRIVERS.

I've been holding it back for a little while, but AEW does a horrendous job at keeping their wrestlers safe. Tony Khan needs to start controlling what wrestlers do in that ring instead of letting them do whatever they want like Vince does. CTE is a real thing, and many people underestimate how much a concussion can **** you up in the long term.

It also doesn't help that Mox in an interview prior to the match with Fenix said that his doctor told him he had the arthritis of a 70-year-old man.

Dante Martin had a scary ankle injury thanks to him performing a stupid spot, and apparently El Hijo Del Vikingo suffered a hip injury so bad that he had to use a wheelchair. Hell, not too long ago, AEW let Sammy Guevara wrestle a concussed Matt Hardy who was bleeding profusely in their match.

Stop. Letting. Your. Wrestlers. Do. Stupid. Shit.

"B-but it leads to more realistic wrestling"
Wrestling is killing itself. At the trend, it's gonna be the boxing scene 2.0.

I now see why Vince was limiting his talent from doing all the crazy shit they like doing back in the indies.

12-year-old me was disappointed in the Ambrose/Lesnar match at WM 32, but now I realized why Lesnar didn't want to do shit with Moxley.

Oh yeah, the AEW Botches twitter (or 'X') account was deactivated thanks to AEW, and Stevie Richards' video where he respectfully criticized AEW/Tony Khan for their poor mishandling of the Mox/Fenix match was taken down thanks to AEW as well.

Further proof that AEW can't take criticism, which shouldn't be surprising atp, considering the amount of talent who have openly said "**** you!" to anyone who dares to criticize them for getting dropped on their heads on a weekly basis.

WWE needs to call up Tyler bate and heavily invest in him. Guy was 19 when he won inaugural U.K Championship they have done nothing with him since
