Nah its been debate exhaustively in the past, in multiple threads and it has always resulted in the same decision in that Reiatsu Crush isn't AP based but rather Soul Manipulation based.

So Mori would need really good Soul Manipulation resistance to resist Reiatsu Crush, not greater AP.

From what i know rn we assume around 5 layers for GT's.

Tatsuki > Yammy > Aizen > Hogyoku Aizen > Dangai Ichigo.

Since there isn't another layer that gets added until Prime Soul King it's only 5 layers atm (until i create a blog to increase this number)

Bumping this match since I think it’s cool.

Mori actually has some pretty good layered soul resistance since even before he awakened his monkey king mode he resisted tam trying to absorb him (the version of Tam also had layered soul manipulation since it earlier failed to absorb Ilpyo Park’s key before later becoming stronger and being able to swallow the key hole.)

Mori's soul is contained within his Concept and Information so unless Ichigo can interact with Concepts (Type 3) and Info (Type 2) Soul Crush ain't doing nothing.

Ok well now that that’s over, the more interesting discussion can start.

Ichigo actually has some decent counters to some of Mori’s arsenal. Like his blut vein makes it so Mori’s acupuncture wouldn’t really work on him. Ichigo can also keep up with Mori in the skill department at least.

But that bout it, Mori has got a big lifting strength advantage and I’d argue to be more skillful. He also has way higher range than Ichigo thanks to both Yeoui and Geuundowun.

Mori in this key also has the 7nth divine master which is kind of a hard counter to Ichigo’s zangetsu since it’s highly adept at dealing with slashing and cutting type moves.

So yeah, seeing Mori with the advantage here.

Much as I’d love Ichigo to be able to keep up in skill, he ain’t Yama, Aizen, Retsu or Kenny. I’d damn well hope that Mori is more skilled after hundreds of chapters in a martial arts manhwa
