Who was unconscious and nearly dying of blood loss. He had no reason to actually try. And you can clearly see that he isn't surprised at all when Seiya stops his sword... Which, in fact, he struggles to do and can only do for a couple of seconds.

Hades then casually punches Seiya with his eyes closed, hurting him a lot.

Here all 5 Bronzies get together, making speech about fighting for love and justice, holding their hands and firing a combination attack. This is the type of event often done before a Miracle happens in Saint Seiya, the hero often re-estates his ideals and beliefs and powers up before attacking.

Now, Hades does get slightly surprised, going "What", but he makes no effort to stop the attack, curbstomping them all with a wave afterwards. He does get extremely irritated at cut they caused to his forehead.

Here Hades realize that Seiya is the latest incarnation of the Pegasus Saint who has been fighting Hades since the Era of Myth, and is the only human to have wounded him. Furious, he sets to finish him off, and Seiya gets up once again, stronger than before, and utilizing a Pegasus Comet Fist, which proves completely ineffective.

Then he stops, giving a small speech about how the Greatest Eclipse is completed, Athena is dead and all their hopes are lost.

When he is about to execute Seiya, Athena intervenes, shielding him.

Hades easily counters God Cloth Athena, choosing to try convincing her of the error of her ways, speaking about how humans are pathetic and sinful and disgusting. She refuses, and speaks about the value of human love.

Hades then knocks Athena down, and is prepared to kill her... When Seiya breaks free from Athena's shield, charging at Hades.

He purposefuly lets Hades' sword pierce his heart to be capable of hitting him with a Meteor Fist, which DOES cause plenty pain to Hades "To believe that a human would be able of causing me such pain..."

But Hades is a-OK two pages later.

All the other God Saints go to attack him to avenge Seiya.

To translate the first lines.

"What? Their Cosmo-Energy? It can't be! I'm being crushed by their Cosmos!"

"This is love, Hades. The immense force which humans possess! The power of loves comes from the source of life, and absolutely nothing is capable of surpassing it!!!"

Then Hades is like

"Impossible. How could they have done that???"

It was clearly a Miracle.
