So, in Ash's Grand Trial battle against Hapu and her Mudsdale, regardless of Pikachu surviving Tectonic Rage, Ash mother-f-ing Ketchum used Mudsdale's Bulldoze to knock over a pillar into the ocean, creating a giant wave of water that washed over Mudsdale and apparently mimicked the effects of Soak, allowing Pikachu to faint Mudsdale, who had its Defense raised several times by Stamina, with Electroweb and Gigavolt Havoc (Special Attack).

It always annoys me that the anime never evolves his Pokemon... They should be so much more powerful than they are...
