Pichu Vs. Gunvolt

Pichu can´t really absorb electricity very well, especially considering he doesn´t have Lightning Rod here.

Because otherwise Pichu would stomp as GV would lack his main way to harm Pichu, only making him stronger in the process.

It can be in this case, as Pichu either has Static or Lightning Rod, which means that we can just choose the Static alternative.

They can have up to 2 thanks to the Mistery Dungeon games, but Lightning Rod is a hidden ability, which means that it can´t be stacked with normal abilities, which means that Pichu either has Static or Lightning Rod.

Pretty sure that's not how it works here.

It can sometimes, the OP has to say it, and be valid of course.

Still, the point is that Pichu doesn´t have Lightning Rod here.

Why not? This match can't be added then.
You mean why it can´t be valid to stack abilities sometimes? Because that depends if it´s a Mistery Dungeon character in the first place, for example.

As Pichu can only have either Lightning Rod or Static, it´s valid to make Pichu only have one of these, as that´s basically a mechanic in the majority of the verse to do it like that.

The Pokémon profiles are composite versions of those Pokémon, you know. It has both.

But composites up to a degree that isn´t contradictional, it´s like when a character has a power in form A but can´t use it in form B.

Something like this happens to Pichu´s abilities.

No. Look at Composite Human. He has abilities that are contradictional, but we use them anyway. Same here.

Composite human is, as the name says, composite.

We don´t grant to most Pokémon profiles the "Composite characters" tag for a reason.

We use composite versions of the Pokémon. I'm not making this up.

Simply put, there has never been any Pichu with Static AND Lightning Rod, so Pichu is forced to just have one of the two, so the match is valid, then again.

They are not, Pokémon Dream Radar puts it very clear that they are special and unique, and unlike normal abilities, you can´t use the Ability Capsule to change it into something else, which makes it clear that it isn´t game mechanics.

I used Anthem in 2 major ways, to show GV's resilience and it allows GV to adapt better. However, Gunvolt still has plenty of other ways to heal and recover stuff, and GV is naturally adaptive in nature even without Anthem. I also briefly stated that Anthem's mobility, stamina, and damage increase, but never really made it a major point.

TLDR: I used Anthem as more of a minor point. Its removal doesn't affect my argument for GV majorly.
