Persona 3 Question regarding Nyx and Ryoji (it’s Avatar)...

I was replaying Persona 3 the other day, and I was wondering about Ryoji’s statement regarding Nyx. Ryoji put a large emphasis about Nyx and how she cannot be defeated. I am wondering about the validity on his statement, since he is tied to Nyx by being her Avatar. During his talk to SEES, he said that it has nothing to do with strength, ability, or power and that Nyx cannot be defeated. I am wondering how true that statement is considering that in Persona 3, The Answer to be more specific, it is revealed that the protagonist used the Great Seal to separate Erebus and Nyx. I don’t know if that is considered being defeated. And if it is not, than I am curious if the Nyx page would be edited or not. I’m also sorry if this seems like a dumb question and thread. My apologies.

Nyx is the archetype of night and is a primordial being of death and destruction. You basically can't kill Nyx because she is ultimate death aka nothing (due to being archetype of the night which contains death). If Nyx would die the concepts of nothing, death, destruction, etc would cease to be. You basically need really strong conceptual existence erasure.

Sealing Nyx works because she is also a Great Mother archetype. She only brings death to humans when they want it. That's where Erebus comes in as the embodiment of humanity's despair, and why separating it from Nyx is the key to Nyx not granting humanity's wish.
