I...suppose this makes sense. It really is a gag feat, plus we never see how his head gets separated like that, especially since that was the same gift box that Patchy was carting around the entire episode.

patchy survived being launched from california to bikini atoll in 2 episodes as well so that could be a huge AP boost

It happens again in spongebob's big birthday blowout, potty is also seen flying with patchy when he's launched so that could be a speed boost as well
